This is the Superb!

It's the all-new variation of 's huge, practical family and truck, and Mat's going to carry out an energetic, thorough evaluation to see if it's still one of the leading automobiles in its class.

In regards to the design, the Superb is stylish from the front all the method to the rear. The front end has a smart black grille with a chrome surround, and this is flanked by sharp-edged vents. Along the side alloy wheels range between 17" – 19", and a crease runs along the vehicle's length. There's a huge badge at the back, and there are no phony vents or exhausts to be found anywhere!

The elegant design advances the within, with a big infotainment screen on the centre of the dash in addition to a big digital dial display screen. Environment-friendly products are used throughout the cabin, although we're not exactly sure about the strange xylophone-style design on the traveler's side of the cabin!

When it comes to engines, there are two fuel and two diesel available. The entry-level is a 1.5-litre turbo fuel with 150hp, while there's likewise a 2-litre turbo fuel with 265hp. The former just has front-wheel drive, while the 2-litre has all-wheel drive. The two diesels available are 2-litre turbos, and they provide 150hp or 193hp, depending on which you select.

The Superb starts from around ₤ 35,000, while the cars and truck we have here for this evaluation (with choices included) costs around ₤ 41,000. So is it the essential household vehicle? Stick with Mat and see for yourself!

      @GKBehindTheWheel

      While there is absolutely no doubt that car prices have gone through the roof in recent years, it’s important to remember that the Mk3 came out in 2015 and had a lot less standard equipment than the new one. The last few model years of Mk3 weren’t much cheaper than Mk4

    4. @Argordeus Avatar
      @Argordeus

      Equipped Skoda Superb was always around 34k GBP (10-15 years back) in Czechia, so unless car prices were 50% off in UK, then the price is still really good, considering everything else is 4x the money today. 49k fully equipped Superb, starting at 34k. I think the price can be this low only because Czech economy did not grow as much in past 15 years and wages here are joke. It is 44% increase… inflation

      @MaxCroat

      Depends what people like, I guess. I don’t really like most SUVs, nor estate cars really. Although I doubt this lack of headroom with 3 people in the back will really be a big issue, the vast majority of people probably don’t drive with 5 adults in the car all that often.
