This is the all-!

In the past, the Scenic was renowned as an MPV people character, however the design has actually now been updated to make it more like an SUV. What's more, it's likewise dumped the internal combustion engine and gone electrical only!

So does the brand-new Picturesque have what it takes to take on class leaders like the Skoda Enyaq and Tesla Model Y? Let's take a more detailed look

We'll begin with the design, and around the back, the Scenic looks quite smart, and it includes a set of futuristic & thin tail lamps. However, the lower part of the vehicle protrudes, and we think it looks a little odd. Along the side, the and truck we have here (the range-topping edition) features wise chrome surrounds, and there's also a full-length breathtaking roof. Along the front, there's a smart-looking grille, combined with some thin headlamps.

Step within and the Beautiful is a pretty clever automobile. There's a large infotainment screen that beings in the centre of the dash, and the digital dials screen is likewise quite big and features a variety of various settings to pick from. The cabin has some soft-touch materials, however there's also a fair share of scratchy plastics.

As the Scenic has now dumped the engine, there are simply 2 battery alternatives to pick from. The entry-level is a 60kWh battery with a variety of up to 260 miles and a single 170hp motor. Alternatively, you can choose the 87kWh battery, which comes with a range of up to 379 miles and a single motor that provides 217hp.

So what do you think – does the brand-new Beautiful have what it requires to take on the very best? You'll need to stick to Mat and see for yourself!

The car came out ages ago and we still don’t have a review. Still waiting on the reviews for new Tiguan, the Lexus LBX, the Mini… They’re too busy making stupid drag race videos

When you have the controls for music on the steering wheel, you have to rearrange your grip. But when you have it behind the steering wheel you don’t have to readjust 👌

In this Renault, you can just tap the door handles (not the grabby end but somewhere in the middle). the handles will come out if you are outside the car and it’s unlocked

It’s rare nowadays that cars get smaller wheels as they get a new generation! The previous Scenic got 20″ wheels as standard on all models. But that was very unnecessary for an MPV so.

Renault scenic long range has 630 km range and 43000 euros for price + a good interior quality.
Tesla 3 long range has 620 km range and 49000 euros for price + low cost interior quality .

5:10 – Renault knows that you shouldn’t be driving with your elbow in that position, so they made it very uncomfortable to deter drivers from doing that.

Remember when each car brand had its own unique design and style? If you covered the badges on this I genuinely would not be able to tell if it was a VW ID, a Peugeot or even an ‘MG’. All crossover EVs look like they’ve been designed by the same team.

To be fair, the Renault Austral and Espace look quite distinctive, and then Renault took a wrong turn and we got the Rafale, Scenic, as well as the updated Clio and Captur. If I’m not mistaken, the former Peugeot designer is now responsible for the design of the latest Renault cars. Unfortunately, this is noticeable:(

Separate stalk for audio is an amazing thing about Renault. When you turn the steering wheel, all the buttons turn with it, so you don’t really know where each button is. The stalk stays in place, you always know where to reach for it

    1. @real_swiftydragon Avatar
      @real_swiftydragon

..or do something like Citroen do (or used to do) where the entire front panel of the wheel is fixed and only the outer rim turns, so all the buttons and functions are fixed.

@@real_swiftydragon yes, but the stalk is also very convenient. Especially how you also don’t have to move half your hand to reach a button, you just extend two fingers in the back. Idk, honestly I love the stalk method, it works great. I used to drive a Renault, then I switched to a Toyota and I missed the stalk a lot. Then I bought another Renault, and I was really excited to get the stalk back 😅
