      @Babbando1 Any idea why it is detuned for europe? The bronco raptor is sold in the united states as well with the same powertrain and it also makes 400hp.

      @148Reaper well the early biturbo 4cyl love to blow turbos , drunk loads of oil and had issue with the egr cooler and that’s the tip of the iceberg. Plus lots of electrical problems with HVAC system and had low quality brakes and there was a recall for them and poor quality CV joints.

      @148Reaper 12 years you claim probably barely driven . I had a 2006 polo as a 1st car was 3 years old VW approved and had so many problems again electrical . Then my 2nd car a 2010 Fiesta had it for 5 years and had no faults . My dad had a MK2 focus for 14 years with 180,000 miles nearly never failed a MOT .

    For those watching outside of Europe, the Ranger Raptor sold here in Europe has less power than the one sold in other countries. 292 in Europe, versus 397 elsewhere.
    We can blame EU regulations for that. But the Ranger Raptor’s amazing off road capabilities is the most important thing.

    Also, the torque for the European Ranger Raptor is actually 491Nm. 583Nm for the rest of the world.

      So buying the new ranger raptor is not far off just buying a wildtrack in terms of bhp power alone?

      I’d go as far as to say unless you can easily tune it back up the price should be slashed to the equivalent value of having 100hp less and maybe the ford performance plates should come off as well 🤣

      Raptor , was it in baja mode? Put road tires on and see how much of a difference it would be for the raptor. For a non tuned truck, did well.

    Rest of the World = 292kW / 392hp

      i have one, i don’t think they do. this one is modded to sound way better than stock. like, COMPLETELY different note. a stock one sounds more like the mercedes here.

      @Si 1987 no way, off-road has very different dynamics. The Amarok doesn’t even have a rear diff lock, plus those road tyres would work against it

      @SpookyReaper  you’re thinking F150 Raptor and yes you are correct. However this is the Ranger Raptor and its leaps and bounds ahead of the previous gen Ranger Raptor which didn’t even have 200hp if I’m not mistaken lol

      To be fair, out of the three, it really is the most important.

      Rarely are you accelerating full force from zero due to either traffic, road conditions or just speed limits. Braking is important just from a safety standpoint.
