New Polestar 3 Review: Forget EVERY German SUV!?

Change your automobile with :

This is the 3!

We have actually waited four years for to launch the follower to the 2, and what Mat has his hands on today is an SUV that has the similarity the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron & Mercedes EQE SUV in its sights! But does it have what it requires to bring them down? Let's take a more detailed look!

In terms of the design, the looks terrific! Up front there's no blanked out grille, with Polestar genuinely embrassing the truth that this is an EV from the ground-up. The sloping roofline also assists the automobile stand out on the road, and to be sincere, we 'd be hard-pressed to discover a better looking all-electric SUV out there today!

When taking a look at the interior, it's worth remembering that Polestar still has close ties with Volvo, so the 3 has a lot in common with the EX90. But whereas the EX90 is a 7 seater, this will remain as a five seater just, so it indicates all guests will have masses of room! There's likewise a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dash (which runs Google's operating system), and there's a set of digital dials ofr the driver. The cabin is also filled with soft touch materials, and all-in-all is a great place to be.

All editions of the come geared up with a massive 111kWh battery, and there are single and dual motor models offered. The single-motor edition can produce 299hp, and costs around ₤ 70,000. There are two editions of the dual motor car – one that can produce 489hp and expenses around ₤ 76,000, while the range-topping Efficiency Load produces 517hp and costs around ₤ 82,000.

However what do you think – can the Polestar 3 actually take on the class-leaders? You'll need to stick to Mat for this brand new evaluation and see for yourself!

And actually I couldn’t live with most new cars now that have ditched one-touch buttons and dials almost entirely. I’m so glad I bought my car in ’23. Buttons for heating, buttons for heated seats, dial for radio volume and an iDrive controller to go through the screen menus. When will manufacturers learn that drivers not only hate touch screens when driving, but they’re downright dangerous, especially when essential things required while driving are hidden in the depths of numerous sub-menus. Sorry for the rant, but manufacturers need to listen, or they won’t sell any cars. Oh, that already seems to be happening.
