NEW Pagani Codalunga Speedster is the ULTIMATE Hypercar!

Mat is examining the brand new, ultra-rare Pagani Codalunga Speedster. He'll walk you around the design, interior, engine & drivetrain, and find out how to fit the roofing system.

Explore brand-new and secondhand cars and truck handle Carwow:

This is one of the rarest and most pricey cars Mat has actually ever reviewed!

He's flown over to Italy to visit Pagani, and he's been permitted to get up close and individual with the new Pagani Codalunga Speedster!

It's ultra-rare, with just 10 to ever be offered! The concern is, how does it differ from the Codalunga Coupe? And is it worth the EUR11,000,000 price tag?! Let's take a closer look …

Although the shape is still mostly similar to the coupe, there are a few distinct distinctions. Up top, there's now a blade through the large air consumption in the bumper, along with bigger vents in the bonnet to assist cool the radiator. Along the side, the gull-wing doors have actually been changed with regular doors, which therefore means the wings in front and behind the doors are all-new. The substantial air intake scoops behind the cabin are likewise more prominent. Around the back, there are loads of active aero components and ceramic-coated exhaust tips. What's more, unlike the Coupe edition, the speedster includes 6 (although 2 are concealed lower down). Likewise, an unique mention to this green paint – it looks definitely splendid!

The interior of the Codlinga Speedster is the meaning of improvement. The only materials you'll find in here are metal, leather, wood, fabric or carbon – there isn't one single piece of plastic! What's more, the fabric on the doors and seats is so unusual and costly that it costs more than a routine family automobile! All buttons and changes just feel expensive when you touch them, and there's a surprising quantity of storage readily available. There is also custom baggage available, which, as soon as again, is coated in the costly fabric. There's also one rare button which we haven't seen on an automobile before – a fire extinguisher switch!

The Codalunga Speedster uses the same engine as discovered in the Pagani Paradise. That suggests it's powered by a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 that delivers 864hp and 1,10 Nm. All this power is sent out to the rear wheels via a 7-speed handbook gearbox.

So the concern is – if you could, would you pay the eye-watering, pre-tax rate of EUR11,000,000?! Stick To Mat to see if you should!

@StrongAgain23DeluxeRemixit may look 3d printed cuz of the spec. But its good to be difficult to please because then companies will make better products in the process which will be as memorable as cars like the m3 gtr from nfs for example.

I’m 63 and it’s the first time in years a design gave me that old, but ever so good, funny feeling. We get numb witnessing hybrid CUVs and friends’ grandchildren who don’t care to get a license, let alone drive. So spectacular! Love that color just as much. Matt’s right about exposed tires; if a Spitfire or C4 induces a smile, this is permagrin.
