New Audi A6 revealed: it has something BMW doesn’t…

Modification your automobile with :

This is the all-new A6 Avant!

has reversed its identifying policy of even-numbered cars and trucks being electric just, so the brand-new A6 Avant will include both petrol and diesel motor! The question is, what else has altered? Let's take a closer look.

On the outside, the A6 has actually gone through a design overhaul, however it is still clearly an Audi. In advance, there's a large aggressive grille, flanked on either side by sharp headlights. Being an Audi, it's naturally geared up with great headlights, which include the alternative to personalise in several various methods. Along the side the car sports flush door manages, and at the back there's a large wraparound light bar, in addition to a set of taillights. And obviously, provided it's powered by a petrol or diesel motor, there seems a set of genuine exhaust tips also!

The A6 likewise looks incredibly wise on the within. It's geared up with Audi's newest breathtaking driving display screen, along with the option to add a 3rd screen for the front guest! The A6 is likely to be equipped with soft-touch products throughout most of the cabin, and there are ambient lights fitted throughout. It looks seriously impressive!

Regarding engines in the UK, there will be a choice of a 2-litre 4-cylinder turbo fuel or diesel engine. The gas is front-wheel drive, while the diesel features a mild hybrid system and is geared up with Quattro all-wheel-drive – both cars produce 204hp. Elsewhere a 3-litre turbo V6 will also be readily available, and an S6 is likewise in the works. We also hope that a petrol-powered RS6 will arrive in the not-too-distant future!

The new goes on sale from April 1st 2025 costing from ₤ 52,500. So is it the very around? Or is a 5 Series Touring the better option? You'll require to stick with Mat to see for yourself!

    I’m so glad they cancelled the new numbering and stuck with the A4, A5, A6 as we know it.
    Changing the A4 estate to the A5 estate was just rediculous and would be bad for sales.

    1. @chrisburry8147 Avatar
      @chrisburry8147

      Unfortunately they aren’t changing the A5 back to the A4 (yet anyway). Maybe during the refresh or the next major model change. So A5 is all we have for ICE and A4 will still be EV only. Silly

    2. @rdspam Avatar

      @@Grover91 wrong. The new A6 was supposed to come out as an A7 and the A6 would be the electric version. Odd numbers = Petrol, Even numbers = EV.

    This new trend of putting screens everywhere is a big no for me. I want analog dials and physical buttons.

    1. @JStryker7 Avatar
      @JStryker7

      Yup. I am okay with a screen if it’s integrated well, but not these nasty stick on ones. I use my screen for CarPlay and nothing more. Screens end up dating the car

      @JStryker7

      @@tbn22 apparently you don’t realize that not everything new is better. Physical controls are easier to use without looking and do not lose pixels or change with time. You may think screens look good now, but they’ll be the primary factor dating the car in the future. That’s fine if you only want the newest, but terrible if you like to keep your car for a while

  8. @Auditography Avatar
    @Auditography

    My personal opinion for those that wonder:
    I think the C9 Audi A6 Avant looks great on the outside. I am pleased with the exterior and I think it carries a proper Audi DNA with a good update of the design. No horrible split headlights, and I think together with the new A5 and Q5, the car looks really good.
However, same thing can not be said about the interior. I am actually in shock that such a huge company known for interior quality and attention to details, have created something like this and force if on to the customers. Too many screens, to confusing instrument cluster, piano black everywhere, a button as a gearshift and low material quality. And it’s ridiculous that this is a copy of the A5/S5,Q5/SQ5,Q6,SQ6,A6e/S6e interior. And still, that atrocious Dacia steering wheel is still there. Like what the actual f… ?
    So my emotions are mixed, but I am hopeful that they realise that can absolutely not go on with these interiors.
    So, exterior: 8/10. Interior 2/10.

      Couldn’t agree more, thank you for speaking out about this. Car channels should really bring this up as much as possible because for the amount of money they ask for premium class cars this is nothing more than unacceptable. Hopefully the sales numbers can emphasize that since nothing speaks bigger volumes in corporate meetings.

      You know we are slowly getting more to the future and it’s normal for car brands to use screens to show them “their technology”. We slowly have to accept that and we need to leave the past and move on. But Audi could’ve done better for the interior and killing the 3.0 TDI/TFSI is just a shame

      100%! I get the idea of a tablet-like screen setup, but it so “old” already as it looks pretty silly to be honest.
