They used to make amazing luxurious durable cars with wooden interiors and a reputation to match.
Today it’s the brand that lives on; you can get similar quality from Skoda or Asian brands it’s not worth paying 3 times the price anymore.-
Skoda probably does it better nowadays. I’ve never seen bad panel gaps on any modern Skoda.

Fit and finish equal to my 15 year old beloved 2011 Mini Cooper R56, and there are mugs that will still buy this.

I’ve got an 2016 F55 (yes it’s the 5-door) with over 200k miles on it and only now has it started having problems.
Such wonderful vehicles, I’m thinking of getting another one once the engine in my current one blows or it becomes undrivable. -
@TheHydrator2003 Excellent, I’m going to have the N16 engine overhauled within the next 12 months or so as I have it in laser blue with chrome trim and still looks fantastic.
Added Union Jack LED rear lights and LED side scuttle indicators with LED DRL’s for the front headlights and fogs…only done 65k miles and still going strong.

It is unacceptable on a gls that is supposed to be the suv version of the s class. Bmw have nicer quality. Even the base models look expensive
