It'll come as no surprise that both and trucks are quite similar under the skin, but let's compare the stats anyway. Beginning with the , it's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 720hp and 770Nm of torque. It's equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels, and it weighs in at just 1,419 kg.

Then we pertain to the 750S. It's also powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this time it produces (you thought it …) 750hp and 800Nm. It likewise comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch that sends out power to the rear wheels, and it's a bit lighter than the , coming in at 1,389 kg.

More power should make it a clear win for the 750, right? There's only one way to learn … LET'S RACE!

      Why not 296 GTB Vs 720s 😂
      Drag races were bad 10.8 for 720s 🤣🤣
      720s spider does 10.1 on this surface
      720s is definitely 100% faster than 750S or 296 GTB or 765LT
      2019 720s is quicker and faster than all of them

      @@TalksportWokistWombles That’s a bit of a stretch. The TWR engine was based on the old VRH engine, but I think McLaren would have changed a few components since. I doubt much of the old VRH architecture remains, if any at all.

    Respect for owning and actually using that 720 for 5 years. If I had a supercar I definitely wouldn’t hide it away in a garage for most of the year. I’m taking it out in rain, sun or snow!

      I wouldn’t know myself but do you not think you’d change your mind when you hand over the actual money and then have it there infront of you. I feel you’d drive it but also you may feel this is too much of a risk of losing the money.? You only live one and all that I get that. And I’d love to be taking it out everyday. But something tells me unless you’re rich af. Everyone would not take that in the snow. It will want to take you off the road in the rain at 150mph 😂

      @@M140_- Yeah it’s definitely a money thing…obviously to be able to buy one in the first place 😂…but also to maintain it with servicing, repairs, extended warranty, fuel, tyres etc. Like if I could comfortably cover those costs then yeah, I’d take it out all the time. But if I stretched myself to get the car, then probably not – but then unless you’re buying it as an investment, I’d argue why buy it if you can’t comfortably afford to run it.

      Because driving to work and back isn’t worth the price to fix it and fuel it .

      Rather save that Money and properly enjoy the car on weekend.

      Yet again i wouldn’t buy a McLaren, not saying they are bad or slow or anything, it’s just not the first super car i would buy if i had the money.

      To be honest it’s not in the top 5 either

      Using it 5yr? a McLaren?😂 that 3 decade old nissan r390 engine wont do 60k miles and the gearbox goes first. Speaking to an owner he was on his 3rd gearbox and 2nd engine at 45k miles and had to pay for the 3rd gearbox himself as McLaren refused to fix it again. Possibly the least “usable” cars of all time

      Imagine seeing pickups in ditches filled with snow, and then go take out your ‘super car” which is crappy in snow because of crazy power and no tire tread. No, you wouldn’t drive it after all of the hassle it is to own it. Believe me- I don’t drive my 911 in the heart of the Rockies for 5 months a year and I have plenty of money and they wont sell me a Dakar because I haven’t bought enough P cars yet.@@milinddixit6583

    Both incredible cars. Can’t go wrong with either. It amazes me just how good those cup 2 tires really are over Pirelli. My 992 came with Pirellis and I definitely have traction issues on them. I have PS4S on my G82 and those were just so sticky.

    I like the idea of tyre warmers in the wheel arches, clever thinking. Sounds daft but could work. Also could you consider doing a tyre comparison video as mentioned. Between the top brands and budgets on an everyday car or supercar. Just so we can see the difference between brands, price and conditions. Great video again 👍
