Starting with the Regera, it's powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8 along with 3 electric motors. It's operating on E85 fuel, which suggests it has an extraordinary power output of 1,500 hp and 2,000 Nm of torque! Power is sent to the rear wheels through a single-speed torque converter gearbox, and the cars and truck ideas the scales at 1,590 kg. In terms of value, it sits at around ₤ 3,000,000.

      Why? the Bugatti Chiron SS was equal with the jesko attack on pump gas and 1200 horsepower so why race them to see the absolute win we already know that Jesko absolute is faster. But Bugatti and Koenigsegg are two Brands focused on different things Koenigsegg is all about Speed and Performance while Bugatti is half about that and usually performance as well

      While being a dual clutch, it is an older example. also the amount of power that is temporarily depleted is quite significant, so even if its not that slow of a shift, losing that pull for even a fraction of a second will be very evident. In any case it is still funny to see, but its probably also worsened by the fact that its going against a car with no transmission

      You have to keep in mind that the Agera debuted 15 years ago, a year before the Aventador. Transmission technology has changed quite a lot in the last decade.

      You can see they film like a few seconds before the half mile and they go over 300 so they hit a good 315-320 km/h at half.

    Small idea and yes I am aware it may be a big ask, how about once the 3rd drag race is over you flash a board with all 3 times, if it’s 5 drags same thing, viewers will be able to see the times when the cars performed and also when they has some struggle, same thing with rolling race and break distance

      That’s always been my thought. There have been several drags where the times are given for the last run but I know that a car has gone faster on an earlier run. They should at least publish the fastest time each car has achieved across the runs.

      I was going for work I south Sweden a few years ago, and on the motorway a regera ran the opposite direction. I could clearly hear the roar even in my car ❤️ also I once saw the orange ccx on the ferry between Helsingør and Helsingborg many years ago 😊

    Epic race, one of a few.
    Suggestion: why not put a synchronised side-by-side view from inside with speedometers visible for both of cars? Interchanging views from each are also cool, but seeing an instant comparison of their speedos makes a sense during pair dragraces, IMHO.
