Is my NEW daily driver the BEST EVER?

The Black Friday sale is now live:

The time has actually come for Mat to say goodbye to his Audi RS7 Performance.

He's been running it for the previous numerous months, and to be reasonable, it's put in some serious miles. From the brand-new AMG C63 through to a 458 Speciale and even an Ioniq 5 N, the RS7 has been a star in a number of drag races. However, when it's equipped with an almighty 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 630hp and 850Nm, it's not a surprise that it's been inclcuded in a lot of drags!

However thankfully, there is a more than sufficient replacement lined up. Taking the place of the RS7 is a Porsche Boxster Spyder RS!

The Spyder RS is powered by the exact same wonderful motorsport-derived 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six as you'll find in the GT4 RS, 911 GT3 & GT3 RS. It sounds definitely amazing, and it puts down 500hp and 450Nm. This power is sent out to the rear wheels just by means of a 7-speed PDK automatic gearbox. It's absolutely impressive!

The question is, what should Mat line-up against in his next drag race? Let us know in the remarks!

@@Plovilo The Skoda Octavia vRS is arguably the best choice under £25,000 for your requirements of performance, comfort, and space for five people. Here’s why:
      Why the Skoda Octavia vRS?

      Performance:
Comes with a 2.0L turbocharged engine delivering ~245 hp (similar to the Golf GTI).
Agile handling, sporty feel, and a smooth ride balance performance with everyday usability.

      Comfort:
Well-cushioned seats and excellent suspension for long journeys.
High-quality cabin materials and a quiet interior.

      Spaciousness:
Offers class-leading boot space (600L) and ample legroom, making it more practical than most sporty hatchbacks or sedans.
Comfortably seats five adults without feeling cramped.

      Technology:
Modern infotainment with a large touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Dual-zone climate control and customizable ambient lighting.

      Value:
Typically less expensive than a Volkswagen Golf GTI for similar performance and features.
Strong reliability and lower running costs compared to premium rivals.

If you’re looking for something slightly more rugged or prefer an SUV, the Hyundai Tucson would be the second-best choice, offering similar comfort and more practicality but slightly less thrilling performance

The Hyundai Tucson is an excellent choice if you prefer a compact SUV that emphasizes comfort, practicality, and modern features, with decent performance for its class. Let’s break it down:
      Why the Hyundai Tucson?

      Comfort:
Premium interior materials, even in lower trims.
Spacious and supportive seats for five adults.
Quiet cabin, making it ideal for long drives.

      Performance:
Engines include a 1.6L turbocharged petrol (~180 hp) or hybrid (~230 hp) options, offering smooth acceleration.
Balanced ride with a well-tuned suspension for comfort.

      Spaciousness:
Rear seat space is excellent, with plenty of legroom and headroom for adults.
Large boot capacity (~540L), expandable with rear seats folded.

      Technology:
10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Digital driver display and advanced safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a surround-view camera.

      Design:
Striking exterior with Hyundai’s bold “parametric grille” design and LED lighting.
      Modern and stylish cabin layout.

      Value:
Offers great bang for your buck, especially in mid-level trims.
Hyundai’s 7-year warranty adds long-term peace of mind.

Skoda Octavia vRS vs. Hyundai Tucson: Which One?

If you prioritize sporty performance and a more engaging drive, the Skoda Octavia vRS wins.
If you prefer spaciousness, an elevated driving position, and SUV practicality, the Hyundai Tucson is the better choice.

Both are excellent options, but the Tucson edges ahead if comfort and modern SUV styling are your top priorities.

Here these would be your best bet
