I drove the world’s GREATEST hypercar!

Modification your car with Carwow:

Mat's flown over to Sweden, and he's had the chance to get his hands on the Koenigsegg CC850!

But this is no typical evaluation – he's checking out the Koenigsegg head office and he's getting hands-on with the vehicle with Koenigsegg's CEO & Founder, Christian Von Koenigsegg! So let's take a more detailed take a look at this amazing manual hypercar.

Beginning with the design, it's absolutely classic. It's a homage to the very first Koenigsegg, the CC8S, and on the outside, that's more than clear to see. Everything on the outside serves a function, with definitely no fakery to be found anywhere. There's a retractable wing around the back, and a substantial main exhaust pipe.

On the within, you'll find a genuinely glamorous, old-school interior. There are extremely weighty stalks on either side of the guiding wheel, and throughout the cabin, the only materials you'll discover are carbon, metal, leather or Alcantara! There's likewise wood, which is scheduled just for the gear stick. Ultimately, there's very little to complain about when it concerns the quality of the interior. Mat found that the leather seats don't have cooling, however we think he was simply being uncomfortable …

The CC850 is powered by an almighty 5-litre twin-turbo V8. It's the exact same engine used in the Jesko, but in this edition, it features a 3D-printed titanium exhaust. When running on E85, it can produce 1,385 hp, while on regular fuel, it can still produce 1,100 hp. This power is sent out to the rear wheels only, and it only weighs 1,385 kg – offering it a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio!

What's more, this is the world's first combustion engine with no flywheel, while likewise having no standard friction clutch or a torque converter – however it can still be driven as a handbook! Christian's going to discuss how it works to Mat in this video, and it really has to be seen to be believed!

Only 70 CC850s will be produced, and of course, they're all currently offered! However will it be the best Koenigsegg Mat has ever driven? You'll need to stick to him in this video to see on your own!
