Fastest Audi RS3 v RS5 v RS7: DRAG RACE

It's time for an RS showdown!

We've got our hands on the brand RS3 Efficiency & Performance, and they're taking on versus an Competitors Plus!

So let's see how the three compare. Beginning with the RS3, it's powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5 cylinder that produces 407hp (7hp more than the standard RS3, no less!) and 500Nm of torque. It weighs in at 1,560 kg, and it costs around ₤ 65,000. But be alerted, UK viewers – this one isn't being released in the UK!

Along with it we have the RS5 Competitors Plus. It's housing a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 under the bonnet which is good for 450hp and 600Nm of torque. As you 'd expect, it's heavier than the RS3, weighing in at 1,695 kg, and it likewise costs more, can be found in at around ₤ 85,000.

Then lastly we have the Efficiency. It's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this provides 630hp and 850Nm. It's the heaviest automobile here, at 2,065 kg, and it's likewise the most costly, costing around ₤ 119,000.

      LOUD is a problem. Noise pollution is a problem that requires treatment. Therefore you are being limited in some way.

      There are rev limiters to prevent the engine from overrevving and blowing up. There are speed limiters to prevent the axles from taking damage over not being able to handle the power. There are also safety concerns over some people driving too fast on the interstate/autobahn.

    Roll the vehicle forward at around 1-5 mph and put it in neutral. You’ll bypass the soft limiter.

      Doesn’t work,i hava a rsq8,when i roll the car and then put it in N still revs up to 3000rpm,its so fucking annoying!

      This is BS. The soft limiter is always on as long as a gear isn’t engaged. You can be doing 300kmh and put it in neutral to try and rev it and it’ll still have the soft limiter on. So I have no idea how you got your info and why you have so many likes.

      @Guinea Pig Racing It’s also 300kg lighter so it will get away from start quicker but the RS7 power and torque will overcome that later.

      @Neil McMahon well yes that is very obvious, im quite used to Audi S and RS models, but in this particular race, it really did look like the guy in the RS5 for whatever reason had to lift off to make sure the RS7 won!

    I had two of those three cars in my garage for a while. the ‘3’ is like a bumblebee! But, the V6 in the ‘5’ paired with it’s active chassis is a great blend of smoothness and power. Haven’t owned a ‘7’…yet.

    Lets give a thanks to Audi Sports for being so game to join in these spectacular dragraces. I’m also pretty sure both Sebestian and Dindo gets to have alot of fun! I will say my fav guy other than Mat on the show is the guy with the black hair and ponytail. He is always fun. Yanni is also great.

    The RS3 was obviously at a HUGE disadvantage with those tyres. It would have been much closer in the dry I’m sure. I think given the choice, I’d have the RS3
