None of this is propaganda. Volvos are still the safest vehicles on the road. For example, nobody has ever died in a Volvo xc90. Also, geely owns lotus but nobody says it’s “Chinese propaganda” when someone praises lotus

Had a 1999 Volvo v40 turbo back in the day, and this is absolutely the experience. Had two Toyotas bash me on two occasions, I basically wiped off the paint on my car. Strongest and safest brand by miles.

This has happened to me in basically the exact same way. (XC60) Only the plastic trim was left slightly misaligned. The other guy’s car was completely busted in comparison.

I was on a school trip to the Volvo factory in Gent, they said that they produce Volvo’s in China but way less than in Sweden and Belgium, the cars made there are mainly for the Chinese market itself and not other countries.

My friends first car, (v60) totaled into the back of a prius. Volvo looked decent, just age and value being so low caused it to be totaled. The prius, the whole back end was completely mangled, looked like it brake checked a semi 🤣

Some are made in america and Sweden, and all the platforms are developed in house rather than just off of Geely. Plus the only real Chinese volvo from platform and maybe manufacturing is the ex30

I had the same with BMW 6 2010. A Fiesta absolutely smashed itself on my rear bumper leaving a Ford logo shaped scratch. I decided to leave it like this as a scar. No other damage. I did not put a claim neither. The girl punished herself enough.

As much as Mercedes fans cant accept that the brand doesnt produce well build cars anymore, volvo fans cant accept that volvo doesnt build tanks anymore. Both Fanboys need to let go of the past. Its almost 40 years ago.
