That particular model of the Rivian boasts over 1600 Newton meters of force which is 1,000 more than the Z06.

how tf is it fair comparing a super car to a literal pick up car. It won’t be fair using the zr1 since that costs significantly more.

Bet it doesnโt stop well. Youโd wipe out 10 cars with that thing. One of the people who put brakes to match their cars are Porsche.
Taycan 2.5 tonnes and has brakes the size of planets. They have a test where they accelerate up to top speed and fully apply brake to 10 mph. 10 times consecutively 165 mph to 10mph. Bonkers but they take it seriously. Think the carbon ceramic on the turbo s are 420mm. ๐
It apparently has to make no difference after doing this and you can then drive and brake normally. Very impressive. What makes it insane is the car reach its top speed and brakes very quickly so there no recovery.
They do this test on every model and if it doesnโt pass they upgrade them till it does.
