It's time for a Germany vs America face-off!
We've got our hands on the F82 M4 CS, and it's taking on a Shelby Mustang GT350! The concern is, which will come out on top? Well, let's take a closer take a look at the statistics.
Beginning with the BMW, it's powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six. This creates 460hp and 600Nm, and this power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox. The cars and truck pointers the scales at 1,580 kg, and when it was brand-new in 2017, it cost around ₤ 89,000.
Then we concern the Mustang. It's housing a wonderful 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 under the bonnet, and it's been tuned to produce 600hp and 597Nm of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels just via a 6-speed manual transmission, and it weighs in at 1,680 kg. As brand-new it costs around ₤ 50,000.
So the Mustang is well up on power, however will the manual transmission be its undoing?! There's just one way to learn for sure … LET'S RACE!
