It's time for a Germany vs America face-off!

We've got our hands on the F82 , and it's taking on a Shelby ! The concern is, which will come out on top? Well, let's take a closer take a look at the statistics.

Beginning with the , it's powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six. This creates 460hp and 600Nm, and this power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox. The and truck pointers the scales at 1,580 kg, and when it was brand-new in 2017, it cost around ₤ 89,000.

Then we concern the . It's housing a wonderful 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 under the bonnet, and it's been tuned to produce 600hp and 597Nm of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels just via a 6-speed manual transmission, and it weighs in at 1,680 kg. As brand-new it costs around ₤ 50,000.

So the Mustang is well up on power, however will the manual transmission be its undoing?! There's just one way to learn for sure … LET'S RACE!

      @Melvin-belvin

      Not that reliable. I owned a gt350 for 5 years and tracked it. The problem is that it was based off a coyote and not build from the ground up as a flat plane. The vibrations from the motor is what ended up causing a lot of my motor issues. The wires for the sensors were too thin and would “break” at the connectors due to the vibration. This thing will eventually vibrate itself to pieces.

    The part we’re missing is that the GT350 is a flat plane crank shaft which really wakes up the engine noise and allows for a higher RPM threshold. It sounds insane!
