    Keys always had their space, no one in car history ever had a problem with storing their keys.
    This is just BS

      Dont know about newer but in f10 bmw you have a slot for the key between the cupholders. And also people have pockets

      For real, it makes me cringe when people put keys in the cup holder

      Or purse, jacket pocket, plus i never just have car key. Have house key on key chain also. I am cringing thinking as the things on the key chain flop around, going to scratch the piano black unless put on PPE.

      What about Audi goes back to where it used to be stored? I have found that with an ignition, you have no worries about where to put it! In all seriousness though, why did someone come up with the idea of keyless start and entry? It makes a car easier to steal

      @@lm1314I always have my car key and other keys seperate. That’s mainly due to me having an e46 and no push button start. I don’t want my other keys jingling around non stop when turning or put extra weight on the ignition lock cyclinder.

      @Zavier-TheFox-Hutchings Because it’s awesome, some people don’t live where their car gets stolen, and why is it easier to steal anyway?

    As an Audi owner, I can confirm. Your pocket is much easier, why youd even remove the key from your pocket makes no sense to me, you can get in, start the car, and get out without ever touching the key. Never understood the point of taking it out

    My car has a even better place: it’s on the steering column, just behind the wheel, and if you slot the pointy bit on the key into it and then turn it clockwise, the car starts! It’s called the ignition 🙀

      @ not really. Only two steps: insert key into ignition, turn clockwise. Press starter if you’re in the Honda, if not, off you go! And, there is no worries about where to put it!

      @billymays7210

      @Zavier-TheFox-Hutchings 4 steps… take key out of pocket, hit unlock button, or insert key into door, put in ignition, and turn. VS just one step- push starter button. (I have both)

    Can Audi fix their faulty design instead? Having the entire engine in front of the front axel? Like a reverse 911 that took Porsche 50 years to fix, somewhat, with AWD, diffs, and a lot of software.

    Audi solution… then, you grab some fast food, spill your drink on your key fob, your car dies in the middle of traffic on the freeway, you die, and a recall is made to go back to a regular key😂 PERFECT! THESE KEYS ARE DUMB! Keep it simple stupid. Put the darn key in the key hole!!! Whoever thought of these keys came up with a solution to a problem that NEVER existed.🤣
