Not in a car this expensive, but I can live with manual cover in regular cars, 1 less thing to break and it’s almost as easy as just pressing the button.
-
Literally the average price of a car in 2026
-
@billymays7210Yeah but that’s in USA and in USD, this is neither.
This is closer to 70k USD.
-
-
One less thing to break imo. If you keep cars for 10+ years, you appreciate the quality and simplicity.
-
U are kidding right? If i pay 60k a want an electric sunroof and I am expecting that is not going to break
-
@tsapetro2618you’re expecting too much
-
@toohotty7450 Toyotas ironically have been very long lasting
-
@tsapetro2618
Might as well say $70k at this point. Hell, go with $80k, really send the point home!
-
-
Manual is awesome! Less bullshit to break and less weight
-
Yes, but the price should also reflect that at the end of the day they did it for cost savings, not reliability and they’re not passing any of those cost savings onto the consumer
-
@BMWROYALya that’s fair
-
@BMWROYAL
Yep,
But imagine you’re driving and you have close the sunroof,
You have interact with the touch screen display, then go to window, then setting, then close.
Instead of flipping a switch. -
@VishZzz-k8t yep these are German cars to fair, no ones buying them for reliability. And really no one really should be buying these hunk of junk that’ll hardly last 3-5 years 😭
-
-
Less things to break, malfunction, and lighter
-
Why do I need a motor on that thing anyway
-
1 thing i hate is automated sun screen on the pano roof. Obviously if you have big panoramic roof and you cannot reach with your hands, then it should be automatic.
-
At least it has one that can operate both with the sunroof open or closed. Most cars these days have sunroofs that don’t even open. 🤙
-
Less electronics, less headaches later! 😅
-
For real bro
-
Nope. Not for over 50k
-
Not for the premium you pay. No.
-
@ronin7645
AKA the average price of a car in 2026?
-
@T0NYMANUEL
Since when was average premium?
-
-
Does not break✅
-
I like this over the risk of Mythos controlling everything in my car 😂
-
Honestly i prefer it. I have a C43 and just to vent it I have to open the entire sunblind but my M235 I don’t have to wait for all that cuz I can move it myself
-
I like it. Alot.
-
Better than having to pay 5000 for a broken sunblind
-
It honestly probably takes more effort to hold your arm up while pressing the button then quickly doing that.
-
It’s perfect, is there something wrong with your hands?? 😂
-
So the dude prefers a motor and electronics that can break as opposed to stretching his hand for 2 seconds.
-
For $60k, you damn right. You people have gotten too comfortable accepting trash with an expensive price tag.
-
-
Less electronics less weight less maintenance if any at all less cost later which adds up to more for you 👌🏾
-
“It’s a feature.” Tbh I prefer it over a very slow electronic one.
-
This is what germans exactly wants…simplicity!
-
Als beim Ingenieurwesen sind wir nun wirklich nicht unbedingt für Einfachheit bekannt
-
-
It’s literally easier to manually close it without looking than trying to find the button without taking the eyes off the road.
