Yeah

bro has first comment

Whaaaaaat?

-
Yeah itโs true
-
I don’t know what it is, but Porsches and brakes are the best combo ever! Haha
-
Itโs the rear engine weighty
-
@@upshifter5316??? If you knew anything about physics, then youโd know more weight at the front helps braking. Porsche engineers are simply next level lol, they make a car with the engine slung out behind the rear axle handle better than almost anything out there. Same story with the braking.
-
@@deaconshouse maybe go look up that fact you just stated. If you knew anything about physics and car design then you would know that rear engine cars tend to brake better due to lower dipping of the nose making the rear tires have more grip to help braking. Your fronts are going to lock up anyway, so the more you can make the rear brakes help you the better.

โ@marcussturup1314 if you knew anything about physics
.no wait, you are 100% correct ๐.
I just wanted to add a third ‘if you do anything about physics’ comment, just felt right -

ive driven a porsche gt3 on track and i can personally say those fucking brakes are phenomenal and are THE very best in the business. no one does brakes and downforce better than porsche.
-
Well it has more to do with downforce(and weight distribution) that the brakes themselves
-
@@gg2324at those speeds the downforce doesnโt help when braking. Youโd need to drive close to the cars top speed to actually get a noticeable improvement in braking with the help of downforce
-
@NuSuntRaresh even a little bit of lift/downforce will induce drag and therefore will brake the car although in the real world, you’re right because it would account for very little in the braking in that case
-
@@gg2324 thatโs what Iโm saying. They always brake test the cars at 100 mph which isnโt adequate for enough downforce to actually slow the car down

Do you remember Mat reviews on Carbuyer? Before carwow started?

Oh yeah

Never tailgate anyone. Who makes that stupid shorts?

Gotta be AI

You should NEVER tailgate! FULL STOP!
-
Calm down, captain Obvious.
-
Unless the person in front of you is driving slowly, of course. You simply inch closer to their bumper until you can read what radio station they’re listening to.
-
@@DannyFR30 I will not calm down. Tailgating is a serious matter. And a media outlet as big as Carwow should NOT be glorifying it with a Short!
-
โ@@alexg1778 there is no unless, don’t tailgate ever. Its the thing at road that I hate the most. I always let pass anyone that is faster but tailgating always triggers me.

Two peace of metal compressing an another metal. And makes a metal skeleton to stop 1 meter behind an another metal skeleton. The difference is how much you pay for it.
-
that was at least 7 or 8 meters, which is a good bit more than an entire car length
-

That BMW is like 4000lbs. Porsche GT3 is 3300lbs. That’s where you see the 700lb difference. Modern BMWs are heavy ugly pigs

Looks like something similar to Sugru which is a moldable sticking putty type material.

The Porsche is 400 kg less right?

Yes, that is part of the reason, I believe the 911’s center of gravity is also lower

Stupid video title. If Porsche brakes for no reason it’s the Porsches fault even tho the driver behind didn’t maintain safe distance.

Nothing else compares to Porscheโs braking and PDK trans
