860hp V12 + MANUAL! Pagani is PEAK Hypercar

Is the Pagani Utopia Roadster the supreme hypercar?

Explore new and secondhand cars and truck deals with Carwow:

Mat's about to get his hands on a Pagani Paradise Roadster!

He's had his hands on a Pagani in a drag race in the past, however he's never had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one on the open roadway. Nevertheless, that's about to change!

He's over in Modena at the Pagani factory, and he's about to see what it's like to drive a EUR3,100,000 hypercar through the Italian hills! So let's take a closer take a look at the automobile he'll be driving …

From the outside, this Pagani screams power and efficiency. In advance there's an absolutely substantial opening in the bumper to help cool the engine, and there are vents on either side of the broad wheel arches. The headlights likewise have an extremely unique style, which is in fact motivated by classic cars and Vespas from the 1960s! There's also the single windscreen wiper, which is associated with Paganis. Around the back, the Utopia Roadster has unbelievable existence, with the ceramic-coated quad tailpipes being in the centre of the rear end. There's also a large wing with active aero. But what's most surprising is that a vehicle with so much power has a totally flat bottom – no aggressive-looking diffuser to be found here!

Step inside and the Pagani is exceptionally well built. Any bit of metal you see is crushed aluminium, and any location not covered in metal is likely lined in leather. There are analogue dials for the chauffeur, and a small digital screen in-between each dial to manage the infotainment system. That indicates that the centre console and dash are completely bereft of screens, instead consisting of more dials and a host of physical switches!

The Pagani Paradise Roadster is powered by a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 that provides 864hp and 1,100 Nm of torque. It's an AMG engine that revs to 6,500 RPM, and the power is provided to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed handbook gearbox. In terms of weight, it pointers the scales at just 1,280 kg dry.

So the Paradise Roadster starts from EUR3,100,000, but once you include numerous options, the cost will increase. So is it worth it? Or would you select a Koenigsegg or Bugatti instead? Let us know in the comments!

    Pagani doesn’t make cars. It makes every other supercar look mass-produced. 🔥

      Supercar or hypercar?

    2. @anamelaket4379 Avatar
      @anamelaket4379

      That’s completely not true, other brand makes supercars for the majority of the people who can afford them and pagani makes its cars knowing very well it’s customers who are going to be buying them and it’s mostly very limited and/or a special edition

    In 2026, the ultimate luxury isn’t 1’000 horsepower. It’s a V12, a manual gearbox and no iPad glued to the dashboard.

      ‘No iPad glued to the dashboard’ is such an edgy take, bro. I hope you get a lot of likes for that comment.

      BTW, when has the ultimate luxury NOT been a V12 connected to a manual ‘box?

      @ValuedComment edgy? My man I don’t want screens everywhere in my car either. Believe it or not China is introducing new laws requiring auto makers to have real buttons for the most used functions in the car such as your A/C or music volume for safety concerns. Also the highway safety ratings are changing which they won’t give cars a 5 star safety rating that use touch screens for all features as it takes eyes off the road navigating your cars functions with the screens. Screens were the trend but now things are changing.

      Almost all Pagani Cars had the large screens on it, like the Zonda C12S.

    2. @harrywhoudini9013 Avatar
      @harrywhoudini9013

      That is nonsense. A screen is just a flat surface which does not age. The graphics on screen during operation can just be updated if a manufacturer is concerned about them looking outdated.

    5. @harrywhoudini9013 Avatar
      @harrywhoudini9013

      @johnz4860 NOPE! It is probably the only part that won’t age. One black plasticy rectangle looks very much like another black plasticy rectangle I don’t know how one black plastic rectangle can possibly look older and outdated compared to another! That just makes no sense!

    Fun fact from a person actually working at Pagani: Pagani is not just better than others in the details you can see, but even in the hidden ones. All their carbon fiber pieces use longer fibres, giving it more structural rigidity, which most other companies that produce supercars don’t use. Others usually use short fibres. The long ones are more difficult to produce but they still do it to ensure the best quality possible.

    3. @qwertytrewq9870 Avatar
      @qwertytrewq9870

      What are you talking about “longer fibres” 😂 they like everyone else use woven fabric prepreg. Some interiors will use “forged” carbon which are discontinue, but that’s an aesthetic choice.

    4. @delbroox Avatar
      @delbroox

      @qwertytrewq9870why do you people feel the need to comment even if you don’t know s*** about what’s being discussed? No. Fibers are not just long and chopped like in the forged carbon. I suspect you must be one of those YouTube experts that watches videos of specs and feels like he knows everything. Go study. Then delete your comment.

    Despite the fact that Pagani doesn’t say it straight, they care more for design rather than aero and performance. And that’s the way more manufacturers must follow

      @srinitaaigaura

      The more recent actually handle incredibly well and have excellent feel of the controls and pedals. It goes way more than just a work of art that looks cool, there is a proper machine under there

    2. @luciengilles5554 Avatar
      @luciengilles5554

      Their customers don’t even buy that “racecar for the road” bullshit, they’ve been hearing it for more than 30 years at this point. If they’re half serious about track days they have a GT3 RS which goes faster than any Pagani, or they participate in amateur racing series on slicks. The Bugattis, the Koenigseggs, the Paganis, even the hardcore track versions of those, they’re just like more expensive watches to collect for the ultra-rich.
