How's this for an AMG vs AMG line-up?!
We have actually got Mat in the most effective petrol-powered AMG, the GT 63 S E-Performance 4 Door, and he's taking on Yianni in the AMG EQS 53!
So let's see how these 2 behemoths compare. Starting with the GT, it's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor. They integrate to produce 843hp and an amazing 1,400 Nm! It's pretty heavy, though, tipping the scales at 2,305 kg. And it's very pricey, with a brand-new one costing at least ₤ 174,000!!
Then we have the EQS. It's geared up with double electrical motors which combine to put down 761hp and 1,020 Nm. Astonishingly, it's heavier than the GT, can be found in at 2,580 kg. But it is a bit cheaper, costing 'just' ₤ 161,000.
So what do we believe – a clean sweep for fuel power? Or could the EQS snatch it? There's only one method to learn … LET'S RACE!
