840hp AMG GT v 760hp AMG EQS: DRAG RACE

How's this for an vs line-up?!

We have actually got Mat in the most effective petrol-powered AMG, the GT 63 S E-Performance 4 Door, and he's taking on Yianni in the 53!

So let's see how these 2 behemoths compare. Starting with the GT, it's powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor. They integrate to produce 843hp and an amazing 1,400 Nm! It's pretty heavy, though, tipping the scales at 2,305 kg. And it's very pricey, with a brand-new one costing at least ₤ 174,000!!

Then we have the EQS. It's geared up with double electrical motors which combine to put down 761hp and 1,020 Nm. Astonishingly, it's heavier than the GT, can be found in at 2,580 kg. But it is a bit cheaper, costing 'just' ₤ 161,000.

So what do we believe – a clean sweep for fuel power? Or could the EQS snatch it? There's only one method to learn … LET'S RACE!

      @zerexxx2 it did 11.0 here and the only value comparisons are done by the same tester, compare carwow on both. M5 CS is faster.

      @Bimmer_Bill yeah and autotop NL tested the m5cs and guess what ? The gt63e perf is faster on EVERY aspect😂 (0-60, 1/4 mile and everything else) So ? One of them is lying to us

      @Officerd00fy No dude it’s more of the fact that it’s simply not stock… again the car community cries the same when we compare built with stock. It’s basically a given that if you give something two fat fucking turbos and 1,000 horsepower, it’ll beat basically anything

      @gav com who’s we? I’m comparing ice and ev. An advantage of ice is that you can upgrade your car and make it faster. Simple as that. EV soys don’t like it pointing out, so “itS nOt sToCK” is what they say. Still getting gapped 👍

      @makkie can’t rly compare an e63s to a m5 cs either in that case since cs would be the equivalent of a black series and merc doesn’t have one, Altho m5 comp does beat the e63s
