This is the Ferrari Purosangue!
It's Ferrari's very first SUV (although they don't officially call it an SUV), and Mat's ready to learn if it can take on class-leading efficiency SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga!
When it comes to the style, it looks like a quite enforcing piece of package. In advance, the slim DRLs sit separate from the primary headlamps, and there are a number of vents which all serve a real function. Along the side, you'll discover even more vents, and if anything we think the side profile makes the Purosangue look more like a long hatchback than a correct SUV! Around the back, there are a number of detailed styles, much more vents, and a remarkable set of quad tailpipes.
Step inside and the Purosangue is a seriously great place to be. The driver has a substantial digital dial screen, and there's even a different screen on the dash for the passenger! The digital dial screen works like an infotainment screen for the motorist, although the reality that it's all managed through touch-sensitive buttons is a bit irritating. The minimalist button design on the centre console is a great touch, and back seat guests are also treated to the same figure-hugging sports seats as found in the front.
There's only one engine to choose from, however it's a beauty – a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that provides 725hp and 716Nm! What's more, it's the only SUV in the world that comes with a V12 as standard!
But naturally, it's a Ferrari, so it does not come cheap. The cost starts at around ₤ 313,000, however the car we have here (which has had a load of options included) costs an eye-watering ₤ 430,000!! So is it worth it? You'll need to stick to Mat and see on your own!
