    This is somewhat very useful, as youd know where to put the foot

      Easier to press and hold the key fob button, no need to wave your foot around

      @Johnny91832 my point was it didn’t turn on until he unlocked it. If it’s not activated by proximity, it’s not very useful.

      And they mess with the night vision of any drivers behind these… Some cars have stronger taillights than headlights.

    Cool feature but Cadillac has had this for about 3 years now. And I’m an Audi fan through and through. I’ve bought 2 A8’s while working at a Cadillac dealer the last for years lol

    If you’re already holding the remote what’s the point? If you have a free hand open the boot.

      @brunomadeira8432

      @d.s.2868  if you are carrying boxes how are you getting the remote out? The foot detection is very useful. The remote activated light is useless.

    3. @ChiliM4n Avatar
      @ChiliM4n

      @@brunomadeira8432I guess you don’t need the remote in the hand since the car lights up automatically once you get close to it with the remote in your pocket.

    Quite a bit redundant, don’t you think? Have the car light up when the key is close, or just use the remote to pop the trunk.

    1. @__-___-_.-_._-.-_.__ Avatar
      @__-___-_.-_._-.-_.__

      lots of modern cars have a sensor under the rear bumper to open the trunk in case you’ve got your hands full with stuff to put in the trunk, many people struggle finding this sensor with their foot so the light shows you where it is

  20. @shadydan1987 Avatar
    @shadydan1987

    The whole idea about opening the boot with your foot is when your hands are full and You CAN’T use the remote, therefore You can “kick” under 4 rings to open remotely if You have keyless entry.
