This is somewhat very useful, as youd know where to put the foot
-
Easier to press and hold the key fob button, no need to wave your foot around
-
@@rizwanmurtaza464something you can’t do with your hands full, hence the sensor
-
-
Thatโs a like for an awesome song.
-
Wouldn’t it just be easier if the boot opened when you press the button?
-
The whole reason is for if your hands are full
-
When you have your hands full of stuff then no
-
It’s super helpful if both of your hands are full for example with grocery bags.
-
โ@Johnny91832unless your an octopus ๐
-
@Johnny91832 if ur hands are full, how you hitting the button
-
-
If you’ve already got the fob in your hand…
-
and when your hands are full? ๐
-
@Johnny91832 my point was it didn’t turn on until he unlocked it. If it’s not activated by proximity, it’s not very useful.
-
-
These rear headlights are just too much
-
And they mess with the night vision of any drivers behind these… Some cars have stronger taillights than headlights.
-
-
So impressed by this, you always do it so well!
-
Our Opel Insignia has have this feature for years except we never really use it as it works 1 out 400 times ๐
-
Cool feature but Cadillac has had this for about 3 years now. And I’m an Audi fan through and through. I’ve bought 2 A8’s while working at a Cadillac dealer the last for years lol
-
VAG cars have had this for a decade at least maybe longer.
-
The addition is the light. Not the feature
-
@toleth88ย the light not the feature, my 16 A8 had it and we had it in 2013 as well but not the light.
-
โ@@don_huzanhow does light serve at daylight ๐

-
If you’re already holding the remote what’s the point? If you have a free hand open the boot.
-
It makes sense if youโre carrying boxes
-
@d.s.2868ย if you are carrying boxes how are you getting the remote out? The foot detection is very useful. The remote activated light is useless.
-
โ@@brunomadeira8432I guess you don’t need the remote in the hand since the car lights up automatically once you get close to it with the remote in your pocket.
-
Lol the remote already has a “open trunk” button๐๐๐๐
-
@@ChiliM4n If the lights activate automatically just on proximity then it’s a nice and useful detail.
-
-
Should light up when key holder is close by. The remote already has a trunk-open button.
-
Had this feature and never used it in five years
-
Cant be. This feature with the light is existing since this year๐คฆโโ๏ธ
-
-
Perfect! I’m always kicking my BMW for minutes.
-
Quite a bit redundant, donโt you think? Have the car light up when the key is close, or just use the remote to pop the trunk.
-
lots of modern cars have a sensor under the rear bumper to open the trunk in case you’ve got your hands full with stuff to put in the trunk, many people struggle finding this sensor with their foot so the light shows you where it is
-
-
It should light up when you get close with the key
-
That exist for years, even opel has it
-
The whole idea about opening the boot with your foot is when your hands are full and You CAN’T use the remote, therefore You can “kick” under 4 rings to open remotely if You have keyless entry.
