What on earth😂
-
the lambo driver looking stressed af 😂
-
The lambo driver 🤦🏼 like he’s nobody.. His names Matt 🫡
-
Bruh that’s literally Mr. Carwow himself. Matt Watson.
-
He’s literally the face of the channel.

10 times breaking in 1 minute:
Chinese car: I’m tired boss..
Italian sports car: Let’s goooo!-
Why would you need to stop 10 times in 1 minute in a conventional car?
-
@kostak840 It’s just example
-
@kostak840 a circuit? one is a race car, one is a family car
-
Yeah, and tbf any non-sports car would be tired as well after hard braking like that 10 times 😆
-
Actually knowing Italian cars a bit… I’m not so sure of that 😂😂
-
-
At least list which tires the cars are using. Very important for brake tests
-
For some reason i guess the lambos tires are better wich makes this even worse
-
-
Actually the literature says it’s physically impossible for chicken legs to win a breaking test. Tyres and year of manufacture may play a role too? :p Still impressive to see a minibus stop that fast.
-
Mat has the best jumps off the line for ¼ races, and he is the WORST at the brake test. 😅
-
Indeed! He prefers to use the accelerator pedal! He never uses the brakes so it takes him a full second to find out where the brake pedal is located on the car! 😅😂

The brake 2 times hard, the first time for heat, so there is no excuse 😂
-
-
Brembo is Brembo, even in Chinese heavy car
-
Except in a Ferrari f1 car
-
@Stratosstudioske if Leclerc jab, is v funny
-
Lamborghini couldn’t afford Brembo brakes? Selling price too tight to waste money on brakes, unlike that $40K Zeekr?
-
-
That’s the first 2 brake tests. It depends on the brake rotor material and pad compound. The lambo are pure carbon rotors and a special brake pad. Carbon brakes aren’t known for good braking UNTIL they heat up, they are made to brake better the hotter they are. After the 3rd or 4th try the lambo will be braking much faster than the suv. Sorry, that’s just how these type of brakes work
-
Rotors? Are you American?
-
Most Lambos will see zero track time. Carbon brakes on the road is idiotic. Win is a win anyway. Should have beat it on the second go but it didn’t. If you need 3 or 4 times to brake to win you’ve lost at life lol.
-
-
When do you all start to understand that physics states that weight does not affect braking distance as far as the brakes are sufficiently powerful?
-
Total humiliation for the Lambo.
-
Never seen Matt win a brake test
-
Matt “never won a break test before” Watson
-
The electric motors could be aggressive in breaking
-
Why can’t they just do the usual countdown for breaking instead of cones
-
Typical Mat Watson moment
-
I’m sure there is alot too it with clever abs ect but the big heavyweight car pushing into the ground has way more adhesion so if you can provide the brakes to slow the weight it’s gotta win for sure
-
physics broken😂
-
Nice

For those who don’t know, most supercars use carbon ceramic brakes, which are designed to be effective when they’re hot. However they perform poorly when they’re cold. It’s actually surprisingly normal for supercars to lose these brake tests against regular commuter cars as those cars use normal brakes which perform better under normal circumstances but not as well under repeated heavy breaking. Warm carbons will stop the car significantly sooner than any non ceramic brakes
-
Pretty sure they warmed up well enough after that first stop. A win is a win. Anyone running carbon brakes on the road is mad anyway.
-
Genuine questions: are carbon ceramic brakes road legal? Should they be?
If one’s cruising on the highway, brakes will be cold and not ready for an emergency stop. Isn’t it preferable to have regular brakes?
-
@tvd3386it takes around 3-4 to fully heat them up, notice how the gap was significantly smaller in that second test
However I agree though carbon ceramics are not ideal for road use even on supercars, there’s a reason that grocery getters don’t use them 🤷♂️
