If they’re anything like the Land Rover owner’s I know they will swear blind how great they are and not even answer the survey

@lowfeelsblvd don’t get me wrong… they look great! I love how they all look… but unfortunately they don’t seem to improve on reliability over the years!

They aren’t unreliable at all. Some build quality issues but recent Tesla models have improved hugely on that. Very durable cars in many ways!

VW in the top 10? Well I never what a shock. I’ll never ever touch one again after the experience I had with a Passat a few years ago

Reliability problems are no longer acceptable for new cars. Manufacturers who wish to survive need to concentrate on reliability & less on useless technology features no one cares about.

I’m not at all surprised about the Tiguan III. After less than a week, it went back to the car dealer for a week, along with a Din A4 page listing all its faults. The main problem was the starter battery, which constantly discharged when the engine was switched off. While driving, all the assistance systems would sometimes fail and the dashboard would light up like a Christmas tree. Shortly after, the same problem occurred again. VW actually believes that they can fix such problems with a new battery and a few updates. After the car failed to start a second time, I withdrew from the purchase agreement. However, you need to have strong nerves when dealing with the VW Group.

In a way I feel sorry for Juke/Tiguan owners but on the other hand what possesses someone to wake up early every morning, sit in traffic, work all day, come home and do it all again for an entire month to spend 10-30% of their paycheck on a Juke/Tiguan.

A pay check makes them get up everyday. Some of us aren’t lucky enough to work from home, or have money rolling in to buy better cars, or have better jobs.

Ok, where are the proverbially most unreliable French/Stellantis brands and models? Don’t say that they proved not so “proverbially unreliable” as the general opinion holds them for…

My friend’s Kia Neo EV spilled battery coolant all over his driveway when just 3 months old.
It is still at the dealers 1 year later with this common battery fault ⚠️
Kia are not admitting it’s a common problem.
They obviously haven’t found a cure yet .

People might say that they care about reliability, but there’s really not much evidence of that in car buying behaviour, at least where I live in the north west….

Superficial report and YouTube clip. Most of the defects were connected with problems that hybrid powertrains had. Combining a petrol engine with an electric motor using batteries and complicated software and electronics is a disaster. And the reports sound like the us ones, where glitches in the infotainment system are considerd to be a major fault, “oh no, my bluetooth took three times to connect, couldn’t listen to best of Taylor swift while driving my kids three kilometers to school”. The thing is, there are large discrepancies between realibility among the same model. Please, give more effort when making these clips. I don’t want to comment the JLR absence, it’s obvious.

Got a 73 plate Juke Hybrid had a new gearbox within a year RAC gave me report to take it immediately to the local dealer would get it in following week told was ok to drive within 10 miles engine management light on !! Had to wait 3 days to get courtesy car but dealer could arrange a hire car at my cost which was completely against Nissan policy !! All because I bought from a dealer 200 miles away as local dealer sales manager was very arrogant !!
