Tesla has formally revealed the Design Y – and we've just had an excellent look around it in the UK! Built at Tesla's Shanghai factory, the revitalized Y boasts updated styling, advanced tech, and improved performance. UK buyers are anticipated to see orders open soon, following the pattern set by the newest 3.

The brand-new Design Y improves its winning formula, including a -inspired full-width light bar at the front, sleeker headlights, and an aerodynamic bumper with a brand-new cam for self-driving tech. Subtle profile changes and revamped rear lights, including a reflective bar with Tesla lettering, complete the fresh look. The automatic boot now exposes 2,130 litres of freight area, consisting of the frunk.

Inside, the minimalist cabin is improved with a 15.4-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch rear screen, and electric rear seat folding. Acoustic glass and softer products boost improvement, while aerated front seats and ambient lighting add high-end.

A redesigned suspension delivers a smoother, quieter trip. 2 Introduce Editions provide impressive efficiency, with ranges up to 447 miles and a 0-62mph time of 4.3 seconds for the long-range model.

Elon no longer has an interest in running Tesla, let’s be honest, it’s a relic of the years when he was pretending to be a decent human being. The best thing he can do now for those Tesla employees is sell off his ownership share and let them run it without him (they already do most of the time).

      We were all happy with you covering the VolksWagen, invented to carry the folks that were about to murder 6 million Jews. But we shouldn’t dwell on the past, so maybe just cover the Chinese cars that are subsidised by a government that are committing genocide on the Uyghurs.     I currently own and run 3 electric vehicles, none of which are Tesla’s.

    If i were to buy another 15 in my lifetime, that figure wouldn’t change.
