Front end reminds me of a Transformer

BMW are on a roll and that’s what’s needed to turn the German car industry around….Well Done.
-
I think you might want to get your vision checked
-

I will! Probably. Have an appointment on Tuesday.

At last, a new BMW that doesn’t offend the eye. Looks promising.
-
The estate version of this is going to be amazing

Less performance, tech, features and quality than a Zeekr 007 GT, which is China is 1/2 the price of the i3. Buy one!
-
@dandan2593I’d like to introduce you to the non-existent service of Zeekr in mainland Europe and the lack of updates whatsoever.
My neighbor bought a 7X 2 years ago, he doesn’t receive updates anymore and something broke in his steering mechanism.
It took 8 WEEKS to get the car back. 8 WEEKS!
All the while he did NOT get a loaner or anything. He swore never to buy a Chinese car again. It’s literally throw away garbage.
-
@dandan2593if the Zeekr comes to the UK then we can compare them on a like for like basis 👍
-
@dandan2593No 😂
-
@dandan2593except when it lands in the UK it won’t be

Quite excited for the estate.
-
But will you buy one new?
-
@davidcottrell570I’ve not a bought a car in years. Salary sacrifice all the way. Far cheaper.
-
@esm7708. You are still “buying” a car, even if you’re leasing it. Your name is on the paperwork.
But the question is, would you buy an estate? A lot of people say they would, but somehow, it doesn’t translate into sales. The difference is a longer vs a slightly taller car. With 500kg of battery, the height barely makes a difference, and that little bit of extra height has an advantage when you’re barrelling down a country lane more quickly than is prudent. You can spot that tractor or dog walker more quickly, and see over a low-slung car. I’ve had numerous station wagons and more recently, utility vehicles, including Volvos, Mercedes and even a Disco. For me it comes down to being something I carry people and things in, and it fitting in a parking spot. Then there’s the cost to run. My current car is an XC40 electric. Very happy with it. Is it an SUV? Don’t really think about it. It’s my car.

I just need space to sleep in the back… seriously (I shoot sunrises in weird places). I will go for the iX3 or another iX… but I love this one so much

To paraphrase Upton Sinclair: “It is difficult to get someone to admit something, when their salary depends upon their not admitting it!”
That is one fugly car.
-
The marmite BMW 😂
-
I’m still thinking that she was very very sarcastic!!!!!
-
Forced paid promotion 😅
-
-
Just 53 grand sounds….. hmmm….. OK. But the Marmite design got me.
-
The engine is what we want babe.
I need to hear the vrrrrrrmmmmm -
The next thing is ”i’ll only do it if it goes over 500 miles and can be charged from 0% to 100% in 3 minutes”
-
Playing the range game is how you win BMW knows
-
Back end like an old Alfa
-
I’ll buy one as Touring version 🎉❤

These reviews are all about looks, what about those spare parts and maintenance costs, rust protection…
