    If you want full retro you’ll need to add large fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror and a tinted sun strip (with Batch – Nicola on it 😂)

    But it’s a Stellantis Vauxhall and all the car snobs out there won’t go anywhere near it.

    I have an electric Frontera and for driving in rural Wales on rough, narrow lanes it’s brilliant.

    Vaxhall may not be a “prestige” brand and Stellantis in general suffers from a lot of calumny on the internet but their products are not all bad.

      Nothing to do with ‘Car Snobs’ – more that Stellantis have a very bad reputation for making EV’s that are reliable. My nephew had a Corsa EV. It spent so much time in the garage with charging problems, he eventually managed to get Stellantis to buy it back and ended up getting a Ford (which granted was a VW underneath) which he’s had very little problems with.
      My neighbour also has a Mokka and it’s been a complete pain in the arse and unreliable.
      I used to buy Peugeot (I had a 106, 206, 306 x2 and 407SW) as I thought being in the garage every couple of weeks was normal. But when the ball joint collapsed & front wheel fell off the front of a 6 month old 407SW, I realised it’s not normal.

      Would never buy a Stellantis vehicle.

      I wouldn’t say it is ‘snobs’ there have been many issues with Stellantis EVs over recent years.

    Missing some proper hothatch style 😉
    But definitely interesting, more than enough power, but being weighter than something like Alpine A290, does it have proper go-kart feel around the corners🤔

    Of course, electric hot hatches can be fun – people who haven’t figured that out yet, usually don’t get out much. Quite a fun review, though, first Stellantis car in ages that someone has called _quite a good car._

    Why have Stellantis done this so late in the Corsa /208s life ? It’ll be replaced next year ! That interior is just so dated now .

    We have a 4 year old eCorsa and barely get 150 miles from a full charge. I’ve heard similar complaints from other drivers of electric Vauxhalls, so don’t buy this sporty version unless you’re prepared to start looking for a charging station every hundred miles.

      Later Corsas have larger batteries. But I’m not expecting most GSE drivers to care that much for range.

      yup another reviewer said they got just 2.8 miles per kwh in real world use smh. So 140-150 miles of range from empty to full which means about 100 miles if you do 10-80 or so %

    I want to see the uncut Batch Onboards and off boards from croft!!! He was in a LHD and all the tracking and offboards were a RHD .

    Very, very sweet Corsa Batch.! The rear passenger seats and boot space are a bit cramped. Other than that awesome gutsy power and handling in a small hot hatch.

    Batch is normally at home in tweed and corduroy, so I was sure Nicola would get the gig. Nice to be proven wrong – really enjoyed the review.
    Agree regarding the track shots though, please show the real ones.

    Great video Batch…. I’m a child of the 80s and fast Vauxhalls were definitely my thing! Great to see Vauxhall getting back into the drivers car game – and doing it properly. I feel like the styling could do with an extra 10% personally – but kudos to Vauxhall for doing a proper job on the mechanical bits – and making the effort so late on in the cars life….
