      @Jack-nw8iv It wasn’t meant that hard, just a little tease. I’m sorry if I offended you. Of course taste is subjective and non-debatable. It’s a good thing others apart from the designer and his/hers mother likes the look of it.😉
      Objectively, from a design view, there’s something wrong with the proportions visually. But I agree, that the updated light arrangements make it better looking than the predecessor.
      I live in Sweden, so I doubt I will see many of them as often as the first generation, that were sold in huge numbers for almost nothing (depending on the day and Musk’s mood that day).
      Musk have practically killed future Tesla sales in Sweden, by undermining the prices and refusing to follow Swedish labor laws. His mental problems, drug use, Nazi affiliation, and his political deeds f.ex. removing food aid for starving children, isn’t helping their image. Tesla would at this point be much better off without Musk.

    62k for a family suv that got 0-60 in 3.3 seconds is nearly impossible to beat across the market!

      After 3 years it can’t be sold for 20k. So ask yourself if it is cheap in the end. (especially considered higher Tesla insurance costs, bad costumer service, poor build quality, enormous depreciation, the Stigma of driving a Musk product, etc) All that considered, it should only cost half.

      @@lise1255 a BMW X3 loses 55% of the value in the same time frame. And your points are all subjective, including “the stigma of driving a musk product”. Only in poor cities you wiull have that “stigma”.

    5. @lise1255 Avatar
      @lise1255

      @BanqueroGamer 😂. The Stigma is real. Obviously, it’s different from countries, but in Sweden, where I live, it’s only broadly accepted if people bought their Tesla’s before Musk revealed his Nazi tendencies. tesla’s sale has almost completely stopped in many European countries. Tesla has had a tough time in Sweden the past 3-4 years. First of all, because Musk refused to let Tesla Europe follow European Laws and wouldn’t allow employees to be in a Union, which is actually required by law. It obviously only became worse when he showed his mental deficiency and extreme lack of moral publicly on his X platform and even worse in the White House. So believe me when I say it’s stigmatising to drive Tesla here in Sweden and to buy a new Tesla today is social suicide. It has nothing to do with “poor” areas, because we don’t really have such in Scandinavia 😉.
      Poor build quality is a proven fact, not an opinion. Higher insurance costs for Tesla and certain other EV’s is also a fact. Poor or even impossible resale of a Tesla is absolutely a fact, at least in Europe. I don’t know about the US market. In many cases Tesla themselves refuse to trade in a 3 yo Tesla when selling a new. Most dealers won’t touch them, because in Europe car dealers have certain quality and responsibility requirements by law, that risk being to costly for them considering Tesla sparepart prices. And nobody in their right mind would buy a second hand Tesla, so the dealers are stuck with them. These are facts, NOT opinions, at least in Sweden, but it goes for most of Europe.
      There’s only one way to own a Tesla and that is to buy one and hope for the best, always have a spare car available and drive the Tesla till it dies. Life expectancy shouldn’t be above 8 years. Every day over 8 years is just a bonus. Don’t expect any resale value in a Tesla. When you buy it, consider all the money lost right away, enjoy the car as long as possible and anything above that is just positive surprises, – but don’t count on it😉.
      I speak from my experience with more than 10 friends and family members that are so unfortunate to be Tesla owners.
      Personally, I think the S model is the only good-looking and usable Tesla.

    I drove the Y today and it’s pretty underwhelming. My 535D is a far better. It’s very droll. The sport mode function is utterly nuts buts it’s rather poor in every other respect. Why isn’t the arm rest padded?! 🤷🏼‍♀️

      FINALLY!!! Someone who recognises their ancient 535D (D for DIRTY DIESEL) is far batter. Yes, it is far better – at spewing out toxic gasses. Far better at making loud, un-necessary noises and far better at being a car that vibrates at all speeds.

      I’m calling you out on this. You just said you “drove the Y.” Which Y? Certainly NOT the Performance, so your comments are typical of a Tesla HATER. One to laugh at.
