    Given how Peugeot prices depreciate the fastest + electric car depreciating the most + they went crazy with the prices lately,
    this is a disaster to buy new, BUT a super cheap absolute gem to buy used in 2-3 years.

      This thing will be half off in a couple of years and makes sense then. No idea why someone would drop £50k+ on a french suv💀😂

      They’ll be giving 20% discounts within 3 months (at least). No one is going to buy them at these ridiculous list prices.

    Just make it 10 cm longer or front shorter and few cm vider and there we have – true 7 seater – with 3 seperate seats great for family of 5 with ability to put parents in law into the 3rd row:) One thought – MPV always better than suv !!!

      Agree. An MPV would fit much better in an European parking place.

    my next car 🤤
    just like the prev gen when it’s came out in 2017
    the GT model design was a masterpiece inside and out and this new one is no difference
    an absolutely masterpiece of a design inside and out
    in my opinion best looking 7 seater in the market

    Really annoys me how no car reviewer can tell me what batteries are in evs. Yes you tell me the capacity but is is lithium iron phosphate or is it lithium ion? If so is it 4680s, 2170s or 18650s? Sort it out as these things matter.

    1. @BlackHawkTejas Avatar
      @BlackHawkTejas

      Exactly! And one more thing; Is it 400V, 600V or 800V etc…. These are all important information, just like in ICE, like how much power, torque, petrol or diesel, engine capacity, Inline 4 or Flat 4/6 or V6 etc!!
      We need to know its battery type, composition & Voltage Rating etc….

      Agree. Unfortunately it does not have LFP battery. I much prefer LFP because you can charge to 100% on a daily base.

      Well Peugeot did not put it in the info pckage and they all simply say what the producer wrote down. They never ask uestions because they want to be invited to these fancy locations 😂😂😂

      You can fairly assume that small batteries under 50-60kWh are usually now LFP since that is cheaper , all above is usually NMC because the LFP needs more space and thus you cannot pack large packs.

      So yeah, you are totally right.

      And Stellantis does not run 800V yet, to my knowledge.

    Buying one of these financially would be madness. Secondhand value of these will plummet. How many families actually require a 7 seat vehicle out there ?

    1. @spsmith45 Avatar
      @spsmith45

      Enough to sell quite a lot. The old 5008 did very well. Some will buy just for a huge boot and rarely use all the seats.

    This boot has never 916 litres of storage (03:30) , unless maybe counted all the way to the roof. WhatCar’s boot size measurements are so annoying, so much so that I don’t believe any number you state. They are also very difficult to compare. For some cars you guys take the official numbers, some cars you mention numbers until the parcel shelf, sometimes until the roof etc. Just FYI, the Peugeot homepage states “259 litres with 3rd row up and 740 litres with rear seats folded” vs your claim of 348 and 916.

    1. @fuzzy-daddy83 Avatar
      @fuzzy-daddy83

      259 and 718 sound like figures for the 2ng gen car

    For an EV, I mostly care about 2 things besides the range and the charging speed:
    – One pedal drive or not
    – LFP battery or not (so that I can charge the car to 100% on a daily base)

    Too bad that this video didn’t cover these two items so I need to look them up myself via other sources.

    The only problem compared to the EV9 is that the big battery in this car won’t be on sale this year and the EV9 is already on the road. So it’s a bit odd to compare the price and real-world range of the Kia with the theoretical claims for this Peugeot.

    Don’t knock the warranty! One service every 2 years on an EV will be shirt buttons! My BEV dealer service carried out a few weeks ago was £99.

    If you are designing a 7 seater then make the 3 seats in the second row all the same size – like they used to be in Peugeot 5008 MPV

    1. @fuzzy-daddy83 Avatar

      and the 2nd gen before this. My wifes dad just got a facelift 2nd gen 5008, 3 seats on the middle row all the same size, all with isofix, why take that option away? I don’t get it.

    I love looking at the reviews of the vehicle offer in the UK, however many people here can’t afford them new. It looks nice but we have to wait for a used one. Keep up the good work 💪

    I am not a majority it seems, but I would for sure rather have 3 more equal seats with 3 ISO fix positions. The fact it doesn’t have it may actually turn me down on buying this car. 🙁

    So Peugeot have actively dumped a set of customers, for no reason? well done Peugeot, well done. It was one of the main reasons my father in law chose this car, the 3 full size isofix seats in the middle row. Now they make the car bigger and effectively take a seat away, I don’t get it?

    Peugeot are nailing their interiors just now, this is also much better looking than the old 5008, that just looked all out of proportion with itself.
