    I like the car, the DC Charging Speed is abit disappointing as 150kW is slow compared to today’s rivals,let’s hope this sells well For Nissan as they need it desperately.

      But for most it is fast enough.

      About 270 miles in 30 minutes which is sufficiently fast enough when charging up on a motorway service station.

      @@yeahyeahblahIt is actually. I have no issues with EVs – so long as they are a CHOICE. That choice is being removed from the Consumer….by Net Zero obsessed Politicians….a policy that will bankrupt several Car makers over the next 5-6 years and lead to tens of thousands of jobs going. China will be happy though. A weak European / Japanese Car Industy is just what the Communists want.

    Why did they make it into an SUV, we have too many SUVs already what we need is some good small and medium hatchbacks like the original leaf

    1. @aka7kak8 Avatar

      Because SUVs outsell sedans. At the end of the day,its about making a vehicle that the masses want. Its just business.

    3. @adamk4775 Avatar
      @adamk4775

      @@conradsealy9603They outsell because there is a lack of options in categories that are not SUVs especially in the electric car space, there are very few good electric cars which are not SUVs so people are forced to buy an SUV even if they don’t want to

      Old car = 4.479m long, 1.535m tall, new car = 4.35m long and 1.55m tall – so it’s actually a lot shorter and just 2cm taller

    Looks like a contender. Might get Nissan out of the doldrums now they have the Micra too. Surprised it’s taken them so long though especially if it’s really just a restyled Mégane.

      @@ThatVoidDude The Micra sits on the same ‘Ampr Small’ platform as the R4, R5 and (I think) the new Juke, but the new Leaf shares the ‘Ampr Medium’ platform with the Megane, Scenic and the bigger Ariya. I imagine there’s some shared parts between them but it’s a different class of car.
