Missing the cheap plastics of all VW derived cars which I’ve noticed have also started creeping into new Kia’s.

VW and STELLANTIS plastics are a disgrace considering the price.

Check the MG warranty on their site, they advertise 7 years but check the small print, most components are 36 months or 45k miles, 12v battery, interior/seats 12 months.

Yep, no where near as good, as Hyundai’s 5 year, or kias 7 year

      Nobody would warranty a 12v battery for 7 years😂

MG топчик ! гарний автомобіль. питання лише в тому, яка буде ціна в Україні. ну і побажання – необхідно змінювати тренд робити передок автівок однаковий, таке собі зкитайщення. необхідно пошук свого варіанту бампера

MG top cars! The only question is what the price will be in Ukraine. Well, and the wish – it is necessary to change the trend of making the front of cars the same, a kind of Chineseization. It is necessary to find your own bumper option

@@stevenjones916 I guess you did not get as far as 14:18 where the reviewer states that the MG4 does not have such a feature.

The elroq 85 is comparable in performance to the trophy and that is well past 40 grand. More than a bit misleading reporting.

With chahging, bear in mind in the real-world even a 250Kw charger would not deliver that if it has 2 CCS cables (as they often do) and the other is in use. It may output 250Kw, but this will be shared between the two cables.

Also, unless you battery is perfectly preped for charging, and at around 10% charge left, you want get optimal Kw anyway. All these fhgures, just like mileage are optimal conditions.

One Pedal Drive – це окреме налаштування у розділі “авто” у мультімедія. MG зробили це окремо, бо це фіча (налаштування) впливає не лише на рекуперацію а і ще на деякі системи. підказка від українців

    1. @AskerovichLive Avatar
      @AskerovichLive

One Pedal Drive is a separate setting in the “auto” section of the multimedia. MG made it separate because this feature (setting) affects not only recuperation but also some other systems. tip from Ukrainians

Why didn’t you test the quality of car’s metal galvanization? The evidence of zinc usage in ground paint is important in such wet climate as in UK

No heat pump in the UK… MG app has always been dreadful… I’ve got the previous version to this one, it’s been ok, no horror stories but I’ve only done 7k miles in 2.5 years… Would i upgrade? Probably as the new one is faster!

@JamesSmith-qs4hx  the only issue I had was android auto would not work and so it required a new aerial and module. Took over a month to arrive from china. They did loan me a petrol version… The EV Version is definitely cheaper to drive round but that’s the only horror story to report

Probably should have compared it with the face-lift ZS and not the original one. Face-lift one is far better and more comparable to this one

Yeah, I wouldn’t keep banging the 7 year warranty when a lot is max three years. Sadly including the infotainment, comfort/safety systems, suspension, etc etc. Some items just a few months. It’s really just the drivetrain, battery and body/chassis covered. Part of the reason I’m getting rid of the MG4 as it’s once again having work done next week and no confidence outside of the 3 years warranty.

Seems a big step forward on the previous car. Would like to have seen some data on the efficiency which arguably more important than endless range comparisons between it and other manufacturers. The real-world range and efficiency figures are probably what a lot of people want to know.

@3:14 I call it a Why-Bother EV. I can’t see anything in this Kia EV4 hatchback that takes advantage of EV design flexibility. At the front it even has the long overhang we see in front-wheel-drive ICE cars.

    211 miles and 47.1kWh means 4.48 mi/kWh.
    298 miles and 62.1kWh means 4.80 mi/kWh.
Either someone can’t add up or somethign isn’t quite right here. Apart from those figures being ridiculous in the first place.
