    will it have the usualyy faulty diesel engine that only lasts about 130,000 km life before it needs replacing?

      How would you know? The diesel is a completely new design that has only been out about a year. It’s a 3.3L straight six. Mazda’s inline four diesel that has a poor reputation is not offered.

      There are head gasket and failures already on this brand new 6 in line. It’s not as good as they’d have you believe.

    Is that interior child proof?

    Unnecessarily huge and dire electric range for a new PHEV.

      Like Harry Metcalfe, just go with the diesel.

    Do you get the CX-90 in the UK?

    Why do you keep saying “Sat”? It’s “Sitting” for present tense. “Sat” is past tense. I sat in the rear seat. I am sitting in the rear seat. I will sit in the rear seat.
    You don’t say I’m sat in the rear seat. You could say I’ve sat in the rear seat (I have sat), but not I am sat.

      In colloquial British English, I am sat is okay, as opposed to I am seated in formal English.

      And, no, we don’t get the 90 in the UK.

    Nice car, better than CX60. Very smart interior, as good as the German manufacturers. This fellow is so professional also.

    Unless phev is more refined now, phev is awful option for comfort driving

    I really don’t understand why Mazda made a cx60 cx80 cx70 and cx90. So much development costs when there is so little difference in size. I think they could have spent more money on engineering a slightly better product.

      Just leave the 3rd row folded down.

    No isofix in 3rd row!

    If they’ve fixed the ride over the CX-60, IMO they’re on to a winner.

    Looks impressive but I hope Mazda will also focus on cheaper models in the range too, going forward.

    So is this basically the cx60 with a 3rd row slapped on? Like how they just removed the 3rd row in the cx70 based on the cx90?

    1. @raymondgraber9629 Avatar
      @raymondgraber9629

      197″ long, cx60 187″, same width, longer wheelbase

    2. @Guvb235 Avatar
      @Guvb235

      No, as Doug said, the CX-80 is 25cm longer overall than the CX-60.

      The CX-70 and CX-90 are identical on the outside but the 90 has a third row of seats.

    Having owned 3 Mazda 6s I can say they were the most beautiful cars. This brick flysheet in the face of elegance. Oh dear what has happened to car styling. 😮
