Looks great. Would like to see less SUV’s in general though, they’re just too big for european roads IMO.

Yeah, I’d much rather have an Amarok that’s actually a VW and no doubt that Ford fans would prefer an Explorer that’s actually a Ford product…
    None for me, thanks

Edit: All you fools missing the point that I am fully aware of the current Amarok being a reskinned Ranger.
I did say I would prefer an Amarok that’s actually a VW just as I’m sure a Ford fan would prefer his explorer to be a Ford.
    Not so difficult…

The new amarok is just a Ford ranger with a different exterior the interior of the VW amarok is identical to the Ford ranger

So, a crazy expensive rival to the Puma which will sell at about 10x the volume?

That display is too damn big but at least the mechanism to move it is manual and not electric.

    Can it beat model Y?

Model Y is too passe and old now. Indeed, competition have all gone pass it for quality, style and value.

The fact that it is NOT a Tesla, means it already has.

4:40 do you mean miles or kilometers? The Mach-E does not have 372 range…not even close. Which must mean that this Explorer is no good at 310 whatever that is.

I look at the front of the Explorer and all I think of are stone chips on a nice flat front. As for anything else, that waits until a proper test once they are available to the motoring press.

Oh joy, yet ANOTHER EV crossover/SUV looking thing that I simply could not give two hoots about. How can Hyundai and Kia make such interesting looking EV’s with their Ioniq 5/6 and EV6, yet Ford can only muster this yawning box of nothingness???

I expect the Electric Fiesta replacement and the VW ID 2 to share platforms and parts, which would be a smart move

With the low margin in that segment do we see VW giving Ford that option?

@Jorge Kemp Why wouldn’t it be a good idea?

The outline of the VW driver display unit is visible within Ford’s cheap looking additional housing. Permanent climate controls are an admission that physical controls were perfectly fine. Touch sensitive steering wheel controls remain despite VW’s about-face. All looks like a compromise to me.
