    I am kind of struggling with the droopy looking front grill. Maybe in another colour, it will be better?

    It’s probably as big as an E-Class of a couple of generations ago. It looks really big for a C-Class.

      I really don’t like the dimension creep of the last decades.

      Indeed. I’d be curious to see it side by side with an EQ-E. Also featurewise.

      I have a 2014 E class I’ll be taking to my local showroom when the C class launches to see how the size compares.

    LED lights look nice when they are all working but when some start to fail…yuck and how much will they cost to replace ?

      it’s not about looks. LED lights are way superior to halogen bulbs.

      When are they likely to fail ? Modern LEDs are not like they were a decade or two ago.
      They should out last the car.
      Typically they’re rated at fifty thousand hours though some are are designed to last longer than that. That is six years of driving the car twenty four hours a day every day. For most people that will be 60 years of normal use.

      I reckon they’ll just be led bulbs behind those enclosures. Shouldn’t be too expensive unless they’re fitted as a complete lighting unit, which would be pretty stupid for something to replace multiple lights when just one fails.

    4. @gbatty4691 Avatar
      @gbatty4691

      To be fair if you can afford this car the cost of replacing led lights won’t bother you 🤷‍♂️

    5. @UnknownUser-rb9pd Avatar
      @UnknownUser-rb9pd

      @bubandit06They are often fitted as strips containing a number of LEDs . I don’t think there will be any bulbs. Certainly not in the grill . If it has matrix headlights again they are usually controlled by switching on and off small batches of LEDs so the reflector does the light focusing and there won’t be LED bulbs. Perhaps indicators and rear lights will have LED bulbs but usually nowadays the LEDs are part of a circuit board where the whole lot needs replacing should they fail. However that only happens if there’s a fault or an accident as they are designed to last the life of the car.

    It looks so perfect in white. I’m impressed how Mercedes and BMW find their own way to reinvent themself EV wise. The thing is, the GLC and C now looking like an Mercedes that you want to drive. Older Mercedes looked more and more like they’re build for shishabar owners instead of businessman or women. It looks like it has it’s class back. Thx for that, the world is not just Dubai.

    If they make that with an optional red interior I’d be chomping at the bit to get one! (A Merc in silver with red seats is just lush…….)

    The bezzles of the screen are ridiculously large. The black plastic surrounding the air-vents look stupid… The side air-vents themselves look kia quality. I can already tell the sides of the center console are scratchy plastic. Do manufacturers HAVE to have good generations followed by bad ones?

    Going to be interesting to see the price. Some real nice tech on it but I wonder how much it will all cost. Looks like they are really going after BMW though and made more sportier

    Ginny… regarding the Mercedes Grille, have Mercedes just employed the same person who designed the Grilles for Audi ‘A8’ a few years ago, not very imaginative is it. Those air ducts at the front look too busy and if you don’t get them in other trims as you mentioned Ginny, then you can be sure they don’t do anything but create drag, the rear looks great though.

  19. @bryandavies6074 Avatar
    @bryandavies6074

    I like the back seats. The rear is inoffensive. The rest? It looks like the swan song of a 1970s ‘medallion man’ designer.

    Why have the rear lights got the Mitsubishi logo in them
