They need to hurry up and release them they are really dragging this launch out.
If that’s the VZ that gets just under 7 secs 0-62 then I’m not impressed. A Fiesta ST could do that years ago with an ICE engine (not instant torque).
Let’s just say I was excited for these small EV’s, but not so much any more.
The VZ is probably going to be 6.5 seconds to 62mph. That’s plenty fast and exactly the number every other competitor offers like Ford Fiesta ST or VW Polo GTI. What do you expect everyone has a similar amount of power (200PS in the Fiesta ST, VW Polo GTI has 207PS, the Cupra Raval VZ has 226PS) so the acceleration will be similar as well. The Cupra Raval 100% will be quicker to let’s say 32mph and that’s what matters the most in daily life because you accelerate and brake the most in city traffic.
Ich warte auf den Ioniq 3
It will be much more expensive than the Cupra Raval, without being so much better…the KIA EV2 is already quite embarrassing, the Ioniq 3 won’t be that much better. If you want a fun and affordable compact car then just go for the facelifted Cupra Born which will be available in summer. The Born VZ has very good driving dynamics. The electric Audi A2 e-tron will also be available late this year and is going to be a great option, it might even be available with all wheel drive.
Another option: Leapmotor B05, it is missing in the driving range but it’s definitely okay overall, and there also will be a sports version of the BO5.
