Thanks for the feedback, but it’s more about the actual comfort of the seat rather than foot space, and a lesser extent head space. The outer seats then to be spaced to the back and the middle is smaller, much firmer and prioritised for ski hatch/ arm rest. Uber doesn’t exist in Devon as far as I’m aware lol😂

I completely agree with your issue stephen, i have 3 kids and 40-20-40 backseat arrangement is a nightmare for the middle seat, and another big issue is doors are getting wider so the end of the seats sit further inside the car which compounds the issue further! Why cant new cars be designed with 3 independent middle seats or 33-33-33 split arrangements?

For reference, i drive a VW Touran which is the best car for my needs, but as your children are bigger than mine you should maybe check out the Sharan aswell. None are electrics, but thats the new electric car manufacturers shortfall as per my first paragraph above! Please Subscribe 🙏

For Steven. Look at an IX BMW. You will find good used deals and the back is like a lounge also for three people in there. Its lovely.

    Efficiency figure:
Royston, Herts to Cambridge city centre in normal mode with air con on a little and two passengers. 5.6miles per kWh in Kia EV3 GT-Line. Wednesday 9th July 2025. Surprised myself with that one!

I saw a Mazda 6e on a recent visit to China and thought it as a really terrific looking car. Bigger than I had imagined and I wasn’t able to see the interior but I thought if Ford were ever to reinvent the Mondeo this is how it should look. Mid size saloons still very popular in China and the Mazda stood out from the crowd.
