This design is more than inspired. It falls into the same category as the *Shuanghuan SCEO* 20-ish years ago.

If this were to be sold in the US; with Trump’s punitive tariffs added, the selling price would be around $150,000! Needless to say, we won’t be seeing this car on US roads.

Why compare the car with the smaller 51kwh battery MG instead of the 64kwh? trying to make it look better than it is?

Sadly i am going to have to leave the video now, that range is just not good enough, but if they bring out a long range version with a better USB 🙂 I will be back.

For me the Jaecoo E5 is not something I would get, the design is nothing special and the driving dynamics are not good. if I went for a Chinese brand for me the best are something like Zeekr 7X, NIO ES6, XPeng G6,…
Electrifying team would be great to see you getting your hands on some EVs from brands like NIO, Zeekr, XPeng, Denza,…
Keep up with great work and can’t wait for content on brands mentioned before 😅😊

There’s a reason they look like JLrs Chery owns a stake in JLR and the same stylists styled these . Why is no UK based reviewer telling people this ? Maybe they want to protect JLR buyers because this will definitely be more reliable and better made .

Where did you pull that out of? Chery does not own a stake in JLR. The two companies have a manufacturing joint venture in China, and Chery will licence the Freelander name for a range of jointly-developed models. But they absolutely do not share designers.

They’ve beaten Range Rover to the punch. It looks quite good and the Jaecoo hybrid is doing good business so I expect plenty of takers, although a little more range for want of a better word would further increase the appeal.

Hi, here in Spain you can see quite a few on the road, I assume because of the price, people don´t really care about it looking like a Range Rover. Last but not least, again a great listening practice for an English learner like me, lovely British accent. Take care and keep up the good work.

JAECOO is lying about the tablet (and probably a lot more aspects). This is not the biggest portrait tablet in auto industry as Ford Exlorer EV has a tablet that is 14.6 inch and on top you can also control the angle. You just spread bollocks and misinformation and you probably know that, but you are covered because you just state, according to …. just to perpetuate a lie.
