I was wondering when I would see an XPENG on this channel.
If I could afford it, I would buy it… 🙂

This is so big for XPeng, a techy, practical, spaceus great looking EV fastback. For me they nailed this new P7+. Can’t wait to get it here in Slovenia 🤟🤩
For me is like an electric Škoda Superb, made by Chinese premium manufacturer. This new XPeng P7+ definitely hits above it’s price 🤟🤟⚡⚡
Can’t wait to see you getting behind the wheel and maybe comparison test against Hyundai Ioniq 6 and VW id7.
Keep up with great work Electrifying team 😊

Got a Xpeng G6 and love it. And trust me that little robot on the screen can do more than a few things. You can also create macros that run when events happen so you can turn off the bongs automatically as you get in the car. It’s really a really cool car.

These sell very well in Australia. Xpeng are hugely popular.

@DaveR7920Look up or follow the Electric Viking, He owns one, but covers all things electric in Australia.

Local distributors hinted that thousands are being sold and it’s difficult to meet demand which is why xpeng is expanding on Australia.

They also cut the deposit from 1000 to 99 in vehicles like the g6.

They did a better job with the back end than Hyundai did with the Ioniq6

Why are you even comparing the price with the A6 model, which has a significantly larger battery than this one?
Why not compare it to the Mercedes CLA, which has 85 kWh of usable battery capacity and costs from £46k in the UK?
This video is more like an advertisement than a genuine preview/walkaround of the vehicle.

Like virtually all the Polestars, far too wide! I currently have a Genesis Electrified G80 which is a slightly over 5 metre long EV executive saloon, so I would be a perfect target customer, particularly given my car is circa £80k!!!
However at 1,825 mm wide with door mirrors folded it only just fits through the opening of my single garage, in fact I have to use a CCTV camera linked to an App on my phone, and put the drivers window down and then put my hand round the drivers door mirror cover (reason, better to sacrifice a scraped hand which has happened rather than a scraped door mirror cover!!) to get in and out of the garage.
Over the twenty six years I’ve lived at my address I’ve owned a whole range of large cars, such as a Jaguar S-Type, XJ6, XF, a Lexus GS450h, and a Maserati Ghibli, and whilst at a bit over 5 metres long the garage has housed all these cars (the XJ6 was a bit tricky), but widthwise no major issues, until the Genesis.
But now cars are getting so ridiculously wide it would be impossible to get the equivalent modern day executive car to fit at all.
One car worthy of mention, that thankfully hasn’t followed the trend, and has a VERY healthy dose of luxury and style is the DS Automobiles No.8, that’s actualy shorter and marginally narrower than my current car.

Looks good, as ever reliability, back up and resale value will determine whether these Chinese cars stick around long term. We must consider that it is unlikely that all of these Chinese brands will survive the current fight for market share. Do you want to be stuck with a potential lemon with no back up?

“Is this car sexier than its name?”

Yes, but…. The P7+ isn’t as sexy as the P7 without a +. That is a seriously sexy car.

The + does look more usable, though.
