I took my Dolphin through a few times now, it had a whale of a time 😅. In all seriousness, it was interesting as the Dolphin has a toggle gear selector and dont normally need to select Neutral which you need for an automated carwash, so had a moment of ‘fun’ entering the carwash 😬

Yes, it’s probably best to keep it covered up to be safe. By that I mean it’s a hideous mess and you wouldn’t want anyone to see it…
Quick car washes are fine but PLEASE be careful if you intend to drive an EV in the rain as the exposure to water could potentially be much more prolonged.
It’s best to wear rubber soles shoes or boots when driving and rubber gloves (washing up marigolds are perfect) as this will insulate you.
But if there was a shark swimming near by, which would you choose: sit in the car, or get eaten by a shark?

I remember when I had a Mini R56 and I took it to the car wash and it start to steam under the bonnet during the wash, it was terrifying, =/ but that car had a lot of issues.
It’s wild ppl still think it’ll hurt it. Worst it’ll do is mess with the paint. But that’s true fod all cars
Very disappointing that Electrifying would disrespect a car’s paintwork by using a brush wash. Imagine the swirl marks all over the car after that.🙄

I’m going to say this to be fair to people who have this concern. I don’t know what the IP ratings for either gas or combustion cars are. I believe that in the ratings exposure to rain is a different rating than water jets.
What do people think happens when it rains??😂
