Milk floats are perfect for people without any sense of fun. He thinks yawning and looking bored AF is good promo for electric cars ?! 🤦♂️
-
Absolutely, effortlessly superior.
-
@Unwavering_Resolve Yet still cant hit the government mandate despite manufacturers price reductions and taxpayer funded subsidies.
-
If you think EVs are boring, why are you watching videos about EVs on an EV channel? I don’t go on channels about V8 cars and whinge about them
-
@karlwest437 I’m just waiting for a manufacturer to make one I might like. Nothing against an electric powerplant, just want it to be small, low, and absolute FUN (especially on a trackday). Caterham looks interesting.
-
@stevenjones916 in May EVs outsold petrol cars, next time you’re driving, look out for cars with a green section on the number plate, there’s a lot more around than you might realise

So many jealous small people in these comments 🤣 EV SUV’s are the best cars money can buy, i love mine and wouldn’t change it for the world. I can blast past something like a sh***y M140i and that thing wont have even changed gears
-
Yeah but that M140 will keep going past 112mph when your car starts to labour and go into panic mode. I’m not knocking evs but if you think you car is fast off the lights then fair enough but it won’t win more than 1/4 mile speed runs
-
@apb32@apb3251let’s drive at 112mph on a public road – smart man 🤡 come back to reality when you can afford an EV
-
Considering the open road is not a race track, top speed is nothing without controlled acceleration. Speeding isn’t the aim, driving is the point. These modern cars can really go and be an enjoyable experience without destroying your car in the process.
-
@TheAlanaireybut EVs are not good under load or cornering due to weight and balance. So if the public road is not a race track and pulling off at lights is the only trick they have, you’d be better with a motorbike. EVs have a purpose but straight line speed up and until the effect of negative drag is their limits. We have both EV and fast petrol cars in my house I know which one I prefer.
-
@apb3251 What? lol.

-
The bots are out in full force. Either that or it’s people with nothing better to do with their sad lives
-
Bravo! 😂😂😂
-
No one would let you launch start either of the Italian cars. It’s a £100k bill waiting to happen.
With a EV, just mash the pedal and you are off. -
The Countach is a thing of beauty. Stands out from everything on that track. Truly Timeless design.
-
I did expect to see a Skoda in the video, because this is Electrifying. They must be sponsored or so by them.
-
Testarossa came back at you pretty well at the end.
-
Exactly my thoughts, it was a hair’s difference at the end
-
-
Skoda is really pushing promotion in UK , every automotive channel doing this race
-
Everyone had fun in that event except the škoda driver. Perhaps not the message that needs to be conveyed.
-
He was chilling and winning. This is fun and fun.
-
-
Can someone re-edit this so the electric car isn’t there and have the sound turned up?
-
I get the idea but the fact you show how easy it is and act to be bored of the speed means the visceral of the older cars (noise, smell, sense of speed) still makes them more appealing
-
Wow
-
I have an EV. I prefer an EV. I don’t see the point of performance car acceleration for a daily driver…
-
And that’s why your boyfriend/girlfriend is seeing other people behind your back 😂
-
@a@apb3251speaking from experience are we?
-
-
One of them doesn’t help you get in the club
-
Top gear and carwow wannabe?
-
Still know which car id rather be in, and it’s not the Skoda!
-
Said by an edgelord

-
„haters gonna hate“
-
But nobody would fawn over an Elroq (well, other than Ginny). Testarossa’s and Countach’s are a thing of dreams.
-
Forgot to mention the EV’s top speed is 112mph….
