      Avoid them because the boot on my three year old car is having to be replaced due to rust coming through the paint. Not the only person who has had the same issue in the same place. What other bits are rusting that I can’t easily see underneath the car.

    This video is bs, how can you recommend the buzz on it’s wltp range and say the lexus is bad based on real world winter range? The id buzz n lexus go simular distances. Do you watch these back?? Ffs

      They’re not recommending the ID. Buzz on it’s WLTP range, they’re recommending it for it’s practicality.

  10. @johnfranklin6394 Avatar
    @johnfranklin6394

    I have the updated Model 3 RWD LFP.

    It is a great car. The only weakness is the questionable adaptive cruise which is prone to sudden unprovoked braking. The system in BMWs, VWs etc is far better.

    Oh, and the WLTP range for the RWD LFP on standard 18 inch wheel is 344 miles, not 318 miles.

    The Tesla site always shows the lowest range by default based on the larger 19inch optional wheels.

    Once you click on the standard 18 inch wheels, the site updates the WLTP range to 344 miles.

    Definately worth a mention the “Cupra Born” (similar platform to VW id3) the77kWh with e-boost range quoted 307-342 miles this didn’t even get a good or bad mention?
    The Born is by far a prettier car to the id3 plus the issue for me getting a Born was everywhere previous slating on “soft button controls” but these are now resolved, I suppose the only odd thing is that its 4 seater done to get the higher range.

    I know that EU and UK (and US) are raising tariffs over them, but I watched this video thinking about those awesome chinese EVs that are scaring all the major makers for offering better tech, range and space for a reasonable price instead of ostentatious status. Only a few of those shown are real competitors for the best EVs offered by BYD, GWM, Geely, Zeekr, etc.
