    Unfortunately, our 2 year old Q4 has been a huge let down. The keyless entry rarely works (it worked fine on our Taycan and was good on the Q3. Audi dealers are not great at customer Service and Audi hasn’t been helpful except to pass us from one dealer to another. The Q4 seems like a perfect car on paper but we’re looking for an alternative.

    Max charging speed is meaningless.
    It’s just a marketing headline number and really should not be mentioned in reviews without context.
    Charging curve is more important, especially if you’re a splash and dash driver.

      It’s simple – being a part of VW Group means you can’t live up to your name as a brand. You can’t be THE Audi of the old times, because you can’t be better than a Porsche. And it all goes downstream – Skoda cannot be better than a VW, VW cannot be better than an Audi, Audi cannot be better than a Porsche, and so on. It feels like the entire VW Group is now an accounting/marketing departments’ sandbox while actual designers and engineers have all been laid off. It really does seem like they start with the Porsche and actually try to do a decent job and then work their way downstream not by asking the question of “how can we improve it as well” but rather “how can we make this shittier so the upstream brand gets its desired sales numbers?”
      Sad. As a long time Audi fan, and a VW supporter (oh my dear Touareg), it’s time to part ways. Welcome Mercedes, I guess…

    All the screens have a massive bezel just to make it rounded and stylish… but why? just make them squared!

    On what planet is this all-new?

    1. @phil5kolo Avatar

      Agreed it’s not “all new” – totally misleading video. It’s still based on the 7 year old VW MEB platform.

      Correct and is anyone watching Audi fall off a cliff for the last ten years really surprised? Old designs, no innovation and (still) cheap materials. They do not even have the sense to reduce the outrageous over pricing. This is a dying brand who cares about dumb software inclusions for idiots who can’t think for themselves!

    Glad it’s fixed. Now Audi just needs to honor the warranty and roll these updates out to all the owners who were inspired by the Electrifying channel to buy one.

    why is the driverdisplay so small (height) it looks like it’s either broken or has a massive border, neither which is good for a car at this price.

  14. @orionv75 Avatar
    @orionv75

    A few decent update. At least you have a normal dashboard if not opting for the 3rd screen versus piano black plastic hole filler.
    No piano black plastic round centre console.
    At least the interiors are moving in the right direction (versus the cheaper plastics we have seen over the last year)…

  15. @Linealo Avatar
    @Linealo

    What the heck is this interior when everyone else tries to desperately move away from this?
    Shiny piano black plastic on the wheel.
    Touch “buttons” on the wheel.
    Curved screens without a sun cover / lip and the driver info screen small (in height) just because thyley wanted this round look?
    You can also tell, just from the studio lights that there’s significant glare and reflections on these screens. Have fun with the sun, lol.
    Shiny middle console plastic. (With illuminated cupholders???)
    Air vents that look like some child stuck a toy inside them and now you have to use that to adjust them.

    And after all that, the car has a HUGE footprint overall for almost no benefit, the price, is yet again way too high and for how big everything is in this car, the lifted screens take up a bunch of the direct line of sight towards the windshield.

    I mean, I haven’t seen it in person, but if things align as I have experienced with other cars and audi cars in the past, this immideatly screams “we didn’t get the memo” to me. I could be wrong, but first impressions remain important afterall

    What is the obsession with big wheels and rubber band tyres ? Small wheel and big tyres are better for our pot hole filled roads and get better economy.
