    I will take lots of space for the passengers in the rear over lots of boot space any time. You can always put stuff on the seats but you can’t put passengers in the boot. I guess the problem is that manufacturers want there to be a big number in boot space in the info page of the car. There isn’t any number they display for the rear passengers.

      The issue with the Vitara it’s competitors are able to do both.

      @123silentassassin I have never seen a car that’s less than 4.3 meters that have both a big boot and that much room for passengers. I don’t even think i have ever seen that much room for passengers in a car that size before.

      @ISuperTed Sure but then you’ll take a bigger car. If you want a small SUV like this then there has to be compromises.

    Nah big passenger space trumps boot capacity anytime

    It is disingenuous to quote range at 100% charge and then charging time of 10 to 80%.

    1. @androo4519 Avatar
      @androo4519

      It’s a standard metric and quoted because fast charging not possible beyond 80%

    2. @123silentassassin Avatar
      @123silentassassin

      How is it? It’s not like you can’t charge it to 100% via AC charging 🤣

      @fist003

      becaseu charging it to 100% would double the charging time. this goes to all EVs

    4. @ISuperTed Avatar
      @ISuperTed

      Nope, total nonsense. That’s like saying if you can put 70 litres of petrol in a tank, if you only regularly put in 50 that’s disingenuous.

    Kind of reminds me of the Citroen E-C4…. Which has a similar range but is much more comfortable on our British roads.

    Perhaps a car you only consider if you live 50 miles from any dealer but a Suzuki dealer.

    Why do all these car companies keep using black plastic in the centre armrests. Disappointed 😞

    The driving reviews are all over the place. Some say it’s firm, this one says it’s soft, some say the steering is too weighted, this one says the opposite. Are there quality control issues at Suzuki?

      Take all this with a pinch of salt.Try any car yourself.The only way to find out if you like it or not.

    Just concentrate on the car.If people want alternatives they will look and compare.Just keep it simple please.Price comfort range all factors which matter.

    I love mine I’ve had it for 2 weeks and it’s a smashing car with loads of room especially for my wheelchair and it’s also my second EV, I have the 61kWh in Ultra in the green 👍

    The only thing wrong with the driving experience, is the ride and the handling… and the steering isn’t great either 😂😂😂.

    This is only a good choice if you need a 4×4 electric car. So far your only choice in that case for that budget. Reanault 4 no 4×4, Fiat Grande Panda no 4×4 etc etc.

    It’s interesting. I rented the previous mild hybrid Vitara this summer. It was a 2025 model with the same steering issue — an unnatural stickiness around the center. The wheel just wouldn’t self-center, which was quite annoying on the highway. Other than that, it was a very pleasant car overall.

    I saw one recently in the metal and it looked very impressive for a small suv. The interior looked a step up from past Suzuki cars. If this Vitara had the 1.4 turbo petrol it would sell like hot cakes!

    Fact check here. Yes, Suzuki sells only two rebadged Toyotas in Europe but Toyota also sells many rebadged Suzukis in other parts of the world. Look for Suzuki Ciaz vs Toyota Belta, Suzuki Grand Vitara vs Toyota Urban Cruiser, Suzuki Ertiga vs Toyota Rumion, Suzuki Fronx vs Toyota Startlet Cross, Suzuki Baleno vs Toyota Starlet, Suzuki Celerio vs Toyota Vitz. Toyota wanted to sell rebadged Suzuki Swift and Suzuki Jimny too but Suzuki said NEVER. This particular Suzuki eVitara is mostly developed by Suzuki too and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Electric is a rebadged Suzuki eVitara.
