    Hyundai has rapidly increased their model prices…. But “rapidly up market”… I don’t think so! Interior fit and finish on Hyundai and Kia is not even a patch on a Range Rover or Volvo.
    Clearly these sell well as a Company Car with tax benefits on low emission and zero emission vehicles.

      Quite a difference in price. Hyundai is not competition against those brands 😅

      Errrrm people buy Hyundai, Kia and Toyota over Ranger Rover and Volvo because of reliability. Toyota has 10 year warranty and Kia has 7 years.

    Very Volvo-esque indeed… Good to hear they worked to improve the drag coefficient. You won’t notice it that much in WLTP, but it will make a difference in highway range. Still, the Peugeot e5008 with the Big battery will be a lot cheaper.

    EV9 can only be sold or leased with huge discounts. I’m afraid the same will apply to that Hyundai version.

    2. @shinaikouka Avatar
      @shinaikouka

      @@MW-uh1xv It might depend upon where you live. In the United States, I’ve looked around at EV9s, and I’m seeing $10k in Kia Cash along with dealer discounts ranging from $2k to $5k. It’s one of the reasons why I’ve considered the EV9 over the IONIQ 9 as I can get one now and there are hefty discounts. The only upside for the IONIQ 9 is that it qualifies for the US EV tax credit… if it still exists by the time the IONIQ 9 comes out.

    12:10 I understand that digital mirrors can enhance a car’s aerodynamics, but do they genuinely improve its range? While these systems introduce additional screens and cameras, adding complexity and potential maintenance concerns over time, are they truly beneficial for range improvement, or are they more of a novelty feature?
