The retro-inspired Honda Super-N brings unique beauty and a beginning rate of ₤ 18,995, however how does it hold up against the longer-range BYD Dolphin Surf and the roomier Citroën e-C3 Urban? We put these EVs through the ultimate real-world test, driving through London, on the motorway and on country roads.

In this video, our team begins by evaluating these budget electrical automobiles in their natural habitat: the city. We begin with a parallel parking difficulty to see if the Honda Super-N's ultra-short 3599mm footprint offers it an edge. We then head into busy traffic to evaluate exposure, trip comfort and turning circles.

Finally, we crunch the numbers, comparing Euro NCAP security rankings, standard devices and month-to-month PCP financing expenses to crown the ultimate cost effective electrical automobile.
