almost no car can compare to the og roadster here 18+years on smfh. But sure tesla forgot to make over 10,000,000 world class evs, makes the best 2 evs of all time and somehow ignored this paltry segment which world wide combined across all oems isn’t even 1% of global vehicle sales(2dr coupes that is)

@4literv6 The Tesla Roadster seems to be like the solid state battery. Always 2 years away. How relevant is cumulative past sales in motivating current and future purchases? BYD is the world’s biggest EV manufacturer by volume, now.

You mean the car Tesla was too cheap to make… Tesla takes away your indicator stalks and gear selector to save costs while the Denza throws in a fridge.

Lol you are clueless, European manufacturers are already using axial flux motors in compact cars like the Mercedes CLA EQ and the upcoming Mercedes GLA EQ. It’s really easy to put lots of power from electric motors in a car, doesn’t mean the car actually drives well and has an exceptional continuous performance. The only one left in the dust is Tesla, Tesla is totally outdated low tech and low quality compared to all the premium manufacturers from Europe and China

So, 4 of these, or 1 Ferrari Luce… Hmm, tough choice 🙂 And this is what an electric Ferrari should’ve been!!!

The Ferrari is starting to look like a car from a couple of years ago now. But most / all will go straight to collections so a successful limited edition car.

I think this is the proper poster car.

Spyder is the pick. That’s a lovely silhouette. I can see that it’s a new car in hyper cars.

Put any legacy sports car logo on the front and no one would be surprised.

I know they are different categories of car, but when you can get the full fat Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric from just under £131,000, the £142,900 starting price for the base-level Denza Z Coupe looks like a tough sell, especially when they have an equivalent 0-60 time, and the Cayenne will probably take you (and another three passengers, and all their luggage too) at least 50 miles further on a full charge. You’d really have to place a big premium on the Denza Z’s looks, especially as that price difference means you could add a few extras to the Cayenne and still come away paying less…

except the cayenne is full of hard plastic and rough materials… the germans still haven’t caught on that after $100k hard plastics are a no!

Is looks knocks the socks of the Luce… It looks like a real car, not a showpiece. You could take that down to the supermarket and many wouldnt notice it- perfect for a Q car. I expect there will be loads of these in London doing 20mph. I never thought I would say something positive about a Chinese car. I saw it at FOS. It is a definite winner, and for some it isnt the ridiculous prices of current hypercars, or even supercars. Well done, Ginny, you go well together.

Ginny, I love the Denza in the Purple, but if I’m honest and in that Blue, it looks like an updated EV version of the 2004 Noble M12, which I also thought looked good at the time too 🙂

Saw these DENZA models at the Goodwood festival of speed, and really liked them. Wish they were cheaper though!
