    Good to see some used car companies now providing battery State Of Health in their sales packs. Like Motorpoint.
    It does need putting in an MOT though methinks.

    We have a 2021 from new which has done over 100k miles, has 95% battery, no rattles or squeaks, has done 4mpkwh over it’s life so far and the only thing that went wrong was the rear window washer pump which was replaced at 3 months old under warranty. Ours is the 4+model(which you neglected to mention) and has all the toys including a proper leather interior and a very good JBL stereo plus a heat pump. I’ve been trying to think what to replace it with but honestly, I can’t find anything that does what we need it to do as well as this – I think it’s better than an EV3!
    We love it and I can’t see us ever letting it go. ❤❤❤

    The German Technical Inspection Agency recently published a report, showing batteries in Hyundai and Kia EVs have the lowest degradation, followed by Mercedes, BMW and Mini

    Had mine just over 2 years. Love it, comfortable, reliable, economical and the Hungry Hippo looks grow on you 😂
    Regular trips from North Germany to Somerset UK no problem.
    Like a super comfortable pair of trainers.
    Highly recommend.

    Bonjour from France. We have one of the first e-Niro’s to come into France way back in March 2019 when EV batteries only lasted 5 years and were catching fire all over the place. 😂…We’re on 145,000 km (90,000 miles) and the only thing I’ve replaced is the 12v battery. We’ve just returned from a 3,200 km road trip to Germany and Czechia and it performed as flawlessly as ever. A French magazine has been following 2 of these cars used as taxis, both reached the 500,000 km mark last year on original batteries and motors. The battery is 64 KWh by the way as in those days Kia only quoted useable battery capacity. The actual capacity is 67.5 kWh which accounts for the generous buffer size and in the case of our car no loss of range at all. These days Kia quote gross battery size which is a bit naughty as the only thing that matters is the useable. I’ve driven the EV3 which is for sure a more refined car to drive but other than charging speed I can’t see any reason to change it.

    This is what i should have gone for! I wrote it off because i felt it looked dated. Consequently i went for its sister car,the Hyundai Kona Ultimate. Previously i had a 2019 Niro Hybrid (trim level 4 or 4+). I expected the Kona Ultimate to have a similar spec but foundit didnt have the dipping mirrors nor memory seats…but i can live without those! Just need to do my homework properly next time.

    When it does put the power down, it’s actually really quite quick off the line! When the new Niro EV came out in 2022, they nearly halved the torque to reduce the wheelspin, but that makes it the ultimate sleeper when next to boy racers at the lights. They never expect something that looks like a hungry hippo to fly away like that LOL. I’ve really annoyed some people with mine xD

    My wife has a 39kWh, I’m still blown away by the efficiency – easily 4 miles per kWh no matter what.

    I had the 2017 version mild hybrid… at first it took a while before I started liking it. But now I think it’s the best car I ever owned. Did 50 miles every day to work I got 60mpg and it never let me down, was driven in all kinds of weather and I really miss it even today.
