If the Mini electric and Renault 5 had a baby, it’ll be the MG GO.

Is this a Spartacus moment where I say ‘I’m the old bloke’, and everyone else joins in and says the same?😂

I have a Mokka-e from 23 in blue and I like it very much.
I can recommend it as a car for max two people, that are not doing regular long drives and does not need a great infotainmentsystem. Especially the app is so bad.

Oh the entitlement. ” It’s wrong that those without off street parking have to pay more to charge. The government should do something”. Someone points out that those with off street parking have to invest £1000 to do so.” Oh it’s wrong that people should have to invest £1000 to get cheap home charging and save themselves thousands. The government should pay for it.”

my question is, if you had to eradicate one brand which has an EV and swap it for a brand who is dead or doesn’t currently have an EV who would you pick? mines personally would be Ford as their whole uk lineup besides the petrol mustang kind of does nothing for me :/ but i would swap it for an electric SAAB resurrection with a close runner up from an electric TVR or Pagani – on a side note if you have contacts in stellantis plssss give them a nudge to put some love into alfa romeo as a hybrid tonale tributo italiano owner ~ gasp not an ev sorry 🙁 ~ id love to see more electric cars or just more mainstream competition from them – also is the cadillac optiq / brand as a whole ever going to make it to the uk?

Will that R5 fit in a car park bay?

I think any supermarket would have designated parking space just outside the entrance for the R5 Turbo 3E, to entice people into the store.

So happy there was an episode this week… I waited all weekend, and was left disappointed there was not one.😢 I figured you were all knackered after the Goodwood FOS, so needed a break, and so you should have a break if needed. However, Wednesday you dropped an episode for your fans, and a belter of an episode too, thanks for thinking of us. 👍🏻

Talking of Goodwood FOS, what happened to the MG Cyber X concept from last year, any news if that is likely to come into production.

The interesting part is the spread, since seeing the tech show up at both the tiny affordable end and the hypercar end at once says a lot about where things are headed.

DS has such a hard time,(don’t get me wrong the newer DS3 was not as great as the previous) however I really like the new DS no.7 and the no.8 saloon/hatch thing, I think they stand out more from the crowd of blobby grey SUVs that everyone seems to drive just now. Plus their interiors are far more interesting and nicer materials than most of their German or Koreen counterparts and usually better spec’d too.

I bet if you could install a petrol pump on your drive and pay the equivalent to 5pp/kwh people would willingly do it so I dont see the issue with paying for your home charger

Had my new Renault 5 Iconic plus delivered today, leased for 3 years, its actually my first “car” since in my previous 22 years of driving I have only had vans and one old Landrover. The R5 is a lovely little thing and so effortless to drive.

Leasing is an absolutely stupid way of having a vehicle Totally Dead Money An MG Cyberster over 4 years costs in excess of £51k …. then start again? Only complete Morons Lease 🙄
