Poster cars of the 1990s? How about two Lancia Delta Integrales, which I had. Burned through a complete set of tyres every seven thousand miles, which meant I was stopped from having a third and had to downgrade to a VW Corrado with the V6 engine.

I think the 6N matches the old F1. It even has a bit more power and a lot more torque but is limited in top speed to 160mph rather than the rather fancyful ‘240mph’ of the F1 (did anyone ever do that?) but the 0-60 time is an identical 3.2seconds…..

On the subject of apps, please could you include app functionality (functions and reliability / connectability) with your reviews? I’m concerned there are still several EVs with very poor apps, and I think people need to know if an EV at least comes with the option of preheating/defrosting and setting charge schedules and limits via an app. Thanks

We have had EV’s since 2016 when we got out 1st BMW i3 ( My wife is currently on her third) I am waiting for our Rivian R2 order to be delivered to replace my Nissan Aryia. Returning to the UK in 2030 where I will be delighted to have a larger choice of EV’s. Keep up the great work guys, Graham

Ginny we have to run our car on rapids all winter if you want a crib sheet. We have no driveway but our estate has a green outside which everyone parks on for loading and unloading however it gets boggy in winter. We got fed up with the empty promises from the council of 7kW chargers coming to a parking area near us so when we got our solar/battery set up we had a Zappi fitted, bought a long cable and a pavement safety cable guide thingy and use it all the time it’s dry but then use the MFG chargers round the corner.
Rather marvelous for me as I’ve discovered Costa coffee shop, yes I’m a luddite, don’t get out much and had never been to a coffee shop! I’m a bit iffy on caffeine so I tried an Oatmilk chai latte, oh my goodness they’re delicious. Fortunately we can use our Octopus Electroverse card so my little luxury outing has some savings.
(Actually we do top up on slow chargers at the supermarket but they are becoming so unreliable again that hardly counts..
As always thoroughly enjoyed the chat, cheers chaps. 👍

I think the new Dacia Spring will be based on Renault Twingo technology, and will be quite boxy. Price will be 2000 Euro less than the Twingo. Jorgen from Denmark

I had the privilege of a test drive in a Gulf blue Ionic 6N at a certain EV test event in Cheltenham last week. Wow what a car. I have previously driven the 5N.
So smooth and drivable when pottering around town, but such a dialed in chassis.
I am interested to see how Mike gets on as I needed to move the seat back to angle my feet as there is a wiring loom above the “Go” pedal which my size 11 shoes got tangled up with.
    But just a brilliant car,

PS. The boys are wrong. They could totally have discussed the lovely Jason Mamoa.
